Apple has sued June on June 26 for alleged theft of trade secrets related to iOS 26. Another person on the processor has been named Michael Ramakyotti, which has been used to secretly access an Apple employee’s development iPhone and report this information about Apple’s unannounced iOS 26 about Apple’s planned changes.
According to the legislature, Apple claims that the processor offered “money or future job opportunities” in exchange for access to a company belonging to his friend Ethan Lipnik, who works on iOS. Ramakyotti allegedly learned Lipin’s iPhone pass code, using “location tracking” to determine, when he stayed home for an extended period, and then accessed the iPhone in the development version of the mobile OS. Apple says Ramakyti showed the processor on a video call, recorded by the processor, shared with others, and used to create new designs.
Apple says it was found to be the details of what happened in April, which made an anonymous email from someone who claimed that it had seen a recording of the processor’s call and recognized the Lipank’s apartment. The company also claims to send a voice note through Ramakyotti, apologizing for the incident, claiming that the subtirefus processor believed, which resulted in Lipkk provided to Apple. Apple was fired by Apple for failing to properly follow its policies around the unmanned software.
The processor has responded to the legal action on X, and he has insisted that Apple’s account “is not how the situation is going on at my end,” and has been claimed to have given evidence. “I didn’t ‘plot’ to access anyone’s phone. I had no password. I was unaware of how the information was obtained.”
In its legal filing, Apple has asked for both the damages and the court order to prevent the processor from revealing Apple’s trade secrets. The company added that while the public has been announced since the iOS 26, its secrets are still in danger because the development phones have “unannounced design elements.”
