The company announced in a blog post that NVIDIA will start selling its H20 AI GPU to China shortly after getting approval from the US government. Earlier this year, the company was prevented from selling H20 to China, which could help the nation’s military.

The article states that “NVIDIA is filing requests to sell H20 GPU again. The company also announced the Nvidia RTX Pro GPU, which is “fully compliant” for the Chinese market, designed for smart factories and supplies.

In 2022, the US government began to stop China’s sales back to China to China, like A100 and H200, in 2022, such as the A100 and H200. The company later manufactured A800 and H800 chips for the Chinese market, but after that the Biden administration also banned it.

The sale of the chip was also blocked in April, but the US Department of Commerce has apparently changed its direction again. This can be a financially tremendous support for Nvidia as it is currently Billion to $ 8 billion in its unprecedented orders and expect up to $ 5 billion in additional income for 2025, Bloomberg Notified.

Yesterday, Newodia CEO Jensen Huang dismissed the concerns that the Chinese military would use the company’s chips to develop AI. “They certainly do not need NVIDIA chips, certainly, or US tech stacks to build their army,” he said, adding that it would be foolish to do so because “they can’t just rely on it.” Huang has already said that the ban on NVIDIA exports does not prevent China from developing AI and its rivals, especially Hu Huawei, are not allowed to acquire US technology.
