Total Yugrine was the first company to announce that Q 2.2 wireless charging power bank on its way, but it was not alone for a long time. Wireless Power Consortium (WPC) has already confirmed eight QI 2.2 products, including various manufacturers, Power Bank, Car Mounts, and 3 of these 1 stands.
QI2.2 is the latest version of the QI wireless charging standard. The Q2 design was noteworthy to introduce the magnetic color, which helped contribute to Apple’s standards based on meg saffron charging tech. Qi2.2 jumps at 25W charging speed, which is improved on Q2’s 15W cap.
Other certified companies have not yet made announcements. The sprout is apparently ready to extend its prime series with a 3-in-1 Qi2.2 dock that includes a built-in display to monitor the charging speed, Auki has a 2-in-1 charging stand on the way, and Scoche is producing the Q 2.2 version of his magic Mount Pro Car Mount. ODMS CVSMICRO and BH EVS eliminate eight sets with charging components to build in other products.
QI 2 was a welcome introduction, but the phone manufacturers have shown slowdown – while Apple includes Q2 support on all existing iPhones except 16E, HMD Skyline is the only Android phone worldwide with QI 2. Other, such as the Samsung Galaxy S25 series, “QI 2 ready”, meaning that they need a magnetic Q2 phone case of full functionality. It is hoped that the arrival of Q22 encourages more manufacturers to jump on the board.
Correction, July 16: The first version of this article refers to Apple 45W Qi2.2 charger, but it refers to the input rated, not output.
