If you can’t lift your hands on the latest Nintendo Switch 2, you can keep the fumo in the bay with a smart mode for your switchlight. The co -founder of the Retro Remack, Tuki Adon, posted a video showing a working version of the Super 5 OLED Touch HDMI MOD. As the long name suggests, the switches in this third party mode include OLED display, glass touch screen and HDMI output.
The Nintendo Switch 2 is barely a month, so it is too early to expect any news about the successor of the switchlight. However, the retro remake mode has included some important upgrades to Nintendo’s handheld, which were released in 2019 and gives us some estimates of what the next jinning version may be. In particular, this is an unmanned mode that most only needs to connect the cables and they can output the 1080p HDMI video on a larger than a 5.5 -inch LCD touch screen of the switch light.
Retro Remack had previously offered a Super 5 OLED Touch Mode, which lacked the HDMI feature. According to the company’s co -founder, adding the additional feature proved to be a serious challenge, which said the project took 18 months of R&D, which has many failed review, and more than 200 kicks in cost.
“I can’t describe how much the soul is crushing through a lot of unsuccessful reviews,” Tiki Adon wrote on the X. “After the third failure, I hoped that every version after that would be successful, but they were not.”
Testing is still underway for the Super 5 OLED Touch HDMI upgrade kit, but the latest post shows that switch light mode is running Mario Cart On a large display. Retro remake HDMI upgrades starts at $ 90, but is currently sold on its website. According to an email sent to pre -order customers, the company is not sure when it will send the kits.
