The Foldable Android Market got a lot of interesting this week. In his latest event on July 9, Samsung unveiled all three of the new folding phone. In the Galaxy Z Fold 7 decades in the most impressive foldable hardware of Samsung so far, the Galaxy Z Philip 7 gives a large cover screen to Samsung’s Philip Phone, which we have been waiting for years, and the Galaxy Z Philip 7 FE has added Samsung’s foldable lineup to the most essential.

But while the new fold and Philip Samsung is a great news, they are also harmful to Google’s folding phone ambitions. Fold 7 and Philip 7 are looking for a new chapter to mark a new chapter for Samsung Foldables, and based on what we know about Google’s 2025 pixel lineup, it doesn’t look like Google has a suitable way to counter Samsung.

Unless Google has a secret plan we don’t know, I think it’s safe to say that Google’s foldable pixel phones are in trouble.

Do you think Google’s foldable pixel phones are in good place in 2025?

Yes, the Pixel 9 Pro Fold was great and the Pixel 10 Pro Fold seems to be promising.

    Google’s 2025 foldable projects aren’t enough

Google is expected to announce its next batch of Pixel phone at the end of August, and along with Pixel 10 and Pixel 10 Pro, this is where we should see Pixel 10 Pro Fold.

According to the rumor mill, this year’s Pixel Fold will be one Lot A familiar design is almost matching the design Pixel 9 Pro Fold, which means there is no severe thickness or weight loss. The outer display should be slightly larger (6.4 inches instead of 6.3 inches), Google’s new tanker G5 will strengthen the G5 chip phone, and rumors will have the phone rating of IP68. But beyond these changes, it seems.

In a bubble, this is not a bad pitch for a new foldable pixel. Pixel 9 Pro Fold is a rock solid handset. Pixel 10 Pro Fold is the same phone but with a large outdoor display, a better chip set, and better stability is a solid possibility, and it may have been a second year, Google may have been away from it.

But unfortunately, for Google, its specific approach with Pixel 10 Pro Fold is growing against the Behmot, which is the Galaxy Z Fold 7. After the previous years of the upgraded upgrade, the dramatically thin and light design of Fold 7 results in a memorable lip forward for Samsung’s Folder Hardware.

The 8.9 mm profile of Fold 7 makes it one of the thin foldables in the market, and weighing 215g, it is also titled as the lightest book -style folding phone in the world. There are impressive numbers to ensure, but they also make a lot of difference in real -world use, as Hudley has discovered in his Galaxy Z Fold 7 Hands.

It is difficult to imagine the world in which Google’s foldable Z Fold 7 stands.

This new design is just enough to make Fold 7 really interesting, but it is not without SPEC H. The old 50MP primary camera replacing a very high -200 MP sensor, RAM now goes up to 16GB instead of 12 GB, and the phone has been strengthened by Qualcomm’s Monster Snapdragon 8 Elite Chip. Although I do not like the price starting $ 2,000, the design restoration and speaking upgrade easily cement Galaxy Z Fold 7 as the most rounded book -style fold in the United States.

Assuming that what we have heard about the Pixel 10 Pro Fold is true, it is difficult to imagine the world in which Google’s foldable Z Fold 7 stands. Google Pixel is working with a good foundation with 9 Pro Fold, but that hardware is already ancient after the latest Samsung fold, and it is far from a good position for Google.

In addition, a flip phone is the ongoing absence of a pixel foldable, and there is still no indication of Google’s form factor. Last year it seemed like a clear error in the Pixel Lineup, but this year it would be even more harmful.

Galaxy Z Philip 7 Larp Core Screen Upgrade Supply and Philip 7 Looks like a solid low-cost option-not to mention what Motorola is doing with its 2025 RazR lineup-has never had so many options for the Philip Phone Folder of the standard.

And yet, Google is still absent from the conversation.

    Is Pixel Foldable Future?

C Scott Brown / Android Authority

When I look at the plans for Pixel 9 Pro Fold and Google’s Pixel 10 Pro Fold, the thing that has affected me the most is lacking the company’s intention with its foldable strategy.

The Galaxy Z Fold 7/Flip 7 may not be perfect, but there is a intention behind them. The Galaxy Z Fold 7 is a one -out foldable flagship in almost every way. Her hardware is interesting, its cameras are promising, and its chip, ram, and storage specifications are as good as you can. The Galaxy Z Flip 7 has all the makeings to be one of the best markets of the market, and flip should be a decent option for 7 per tough budget.

    Pixel 9 Pro Fold

In the meantime, Google lacks such a comprehensive lineup. I am sure that the Pixel 10 Pro Fold will be a huge foldable, but it already seems that it is fighting a great war against Zo Fold 7. Only The folding phone has to show Google this year.

If Google’s only folding phone is with one year old hardware and slightly better spectacles, it is not enough, definitely not the Galaxy Z Fold 7 has not been released in the same year. Google requires meaningful hardware innovation every year, just as it turns out that it is capable of with a pixel 9 pro folded upgrade from Pixel Fold. Google needs a pixel flip. Google needs to think about the tri -fold device if it’s not already.

As Google Google, it is a company that should have a set on a foldable table. It should set an example for other manufacturers on how to develop high quality folding phones, just as Google has done for “ordinary” slab phones with the rest of the pixel family.

But what we are expecting foldable pixels in 2025 does not resist, and unless Google makes a lot of dramatic changes – and makes them soon – I don’t see a long, healthy future of folding pixel phones.
