It’s not Prime Day Gaming Laptop has been a good year for deals. We are collecting prime day deals all week (and directly blogging the whole event) here are filled with the old, previous general laptop virtual Amazon store shelves, most of which are unable to buy new RTX 50 series graphics that have just come out.
Although somehow is a diamond – and this is a laptop I have recently tested, asus Rog Strix G16. This is an excellent gaming laptop you can buy. But firmly, because there are numerous structures on sales, and as many times in tech, the devil’s details.

The biggest discount is on the lower end. This includes an RTX 4070, 32GB RAM, and 1 TB storage, which I have been physically identical to the model I have tested. It is priced 22 %, which costs up to $ 1,800 – which I have never seen.
Now, there is also a RTX 4060 sequence, which is 3,360 on sales, which is 20 % of retail price. It has only one storage and display, except 16 GB of Ram. This is a really solid deal for price. The important thing is that these two laptops come with 2560 x 1600 resolution display and 240 Hz refresh rate.
This, of course, is the last general Navidia GPU. But as well as documentary, the new RTX50 series increase was not as big as we all hoped. One of the largest boundaries was in the VRAM. Both RTX 5070 and 5060 still come with only 8GB VRAM. There is no regard for these GPUS limits, which can cause some of the modern, AAA titles performance problems. You can get 12GB of RTX 5070 TI, but in general, you will not get less than $ 2,000 gaming laptop with this GPU. Navidia may have said that when they were announced, we would be able to start them at 6,600, but it has not run in the last few months. For example, I tested the AMD version of this laptop with RTX 5070 TI, but it costs $ 2,500.
For Prime Day, though, the Amazon RTX 5070 TI is selling a new version of ROG Strix G16 for $ 2,000. This is $ 400 from retail price. It has a slightly smooth shape compared to the previous model, and it is a new tool less design that gives you easy access to upgrading or changing RAM or storage. I have not yet reviewed this new model myself, but I saw it in CES earlier this year, and the tool low system is really clean.
