Microsoft’s latest Windows AI’s features arrived at the new coat Plus PC last year, but was limited to a special range of laptops. This year, Intel is ready to change its current aero -leak desktop CPU thanks to refreshing, which may first provide the capacity Plus PC features in desktop PC form factors.
Intel’s latest core Ultra Desktop CPU launched an NPU in October, but it was not enough that Microsoft Mandate could kill 40 tips for the characteristics of Copalot Plus. Zet Net Korea Intelligence that Intel is now producing an aero lake refresh, which will include the clock high speed and an advanced NPU that should be capable of co -polythe pulse properties.
The new NPU design will allegedly transfer the refreshed core Ultra 200 lineup into a new “NPU4” design, the same NPU architecture found in Intel’s lunar lake laptop CPU, which found the features of Coproot Plus AI in November. This will allow real desktop PC with a competent NPU instead of being available on only the mini -PC and the All -in -PC, in addition to the copelot.
It seems that a new NPU will be the main part of the Intel’s Aero Lake Refresh, as it will not include additional CPU or GPU core in the current core ultra -200 chips. For the features of the NPU, more space on the chip will disappoint the gamers who are waiting for Intel more competitive in the desktop CPU.
The first aero -leak chips became more efficient and cool, but PC gaming performance was disappointing and often behind Intel’s previous Rapter Lake CPU. Intel acknowledged that its Yero Lake Launch “did not stop”, but in relation to Bios’s updates, there was little work to change the gaming performance situation. It is now unlikely that its next generation in Intel 2026 will compete with AMD’s Rising 9800x3D and 9950x3D chips in gaming performance until the next generation Nova Lake CPU launch.
