If you need more indications about sound orders, tap the small “I” icon on the left side of the toolbar. If you want to continue using voice typing in other input boxes and other apps until you turn it off, double tap the mic icon.

If voice typing doesn’t work, check that it is active (it should be as fixed): from the settings on Android, pick up System> keyboard> on -screen keyboard> gboard> voice typing. The same screen facilitates you to enable the feature offline access to the feature, and enable or disable automatic periods when talking.

Voice typing is the same on other types of Android handset, though it may not be the same. On the Galaxy phones, the Samsung keyboard is default, and the mic icon with this keyboard you need to tap is in the bottom left corner. To ensure that sound typing is an option, select from settings General Management> Samsung Keyboard> Voice input.

    iOS

On the iPhone, you have access to sound typing wherever you need. The default keyboard is what is provided by Apple, though you can also use alternatives like Gboard if you want. Whenever the text needs to be inserted, the keyboard appears, and you can tap the Mike button (below) to talk instead of typing.

You can use a variety of orders when you are talking. Just name an emoji (such as “heart emoji”) to enter the current cursor position, or to say the name of the punctuation symbol (such as “synagogue mark”).

It is possible to distribute the text into the blocks using orders for “new line” and “new paragraph”, which is easy if you are compiling a long message. You can say “banned” or “again” to go backwards or go ahead in terms of these words.

Your iPhone allows you to use commands such as “selected phrase” and “delete the paragraph” so that you can provide more control over the text you are working with. Sometimes health is not as good as it may, but you should be able to write a large portion of most of your messages through this procedure.

However, the iPhone does not give you an easy way to present your text, such as Android “Send” or “Search” with commands – though in some cases the search will automatically be mobilized after you stop talking. Generally, you need to stop the sound dictation (by tapping the mic button or “stop the dictation”), and then tap the button to send or submit your text.

It should be configured as default with iOS, but if it is not working, open open General> keyboard from iOS settings, and ensure Enable dictation The toggle switch is on. Other options here, such as automatic punctuation, apply whether you are speaking or typing your text.
