AT&T is introducing a new wireless account lock feature that allows you to lock your own users’ account to prevent any unauthorized changes. People often complain about changing their account into their account, adding plans or eliminating them, promotions, etc.
According to the carrier, the wireless account lock can be activated using the Might and T. where users will see a new lock switch. The feature disables the key changes of the account, such as billing updates, line changes, or device changes. It also prevents anyone from buying the device on your account or moving your phone number to a SIM in a different device.
Wireless account lock is available for AT&T postpaid and prepaid users. Postpaid accounts can also be managed by people who have been given secondary online access to account management by the account owner. AT&T has a similar account for business users.
Which devices are protected by AT&T’s Wireless Account Lock?
AT&T says Wireless account lock affects every device and line on your AT&T wireless account, including:
- Smartphones
- Tablets
- Worth wearing
- Hotspot
- Laptop
- Wireless account locks do not include non -wireless services.
How to activate a wireless account lock on AT&T?
You can turn on or off the wireless account lock at any time using the Might & T. The app must be installed on the active device on your wireless account. Whenever you turn on or off the wireless account, you will also receive an email on your primary account. Here you can activate this feature:
- Open the Might & T.
- Select Services
- Choose Mobile Security, then scroll to the Wireless Account Lock
- Continue continuing
- Choose the account you want to unlock or unlock
- Swipe to lock or unlock the account
