Since its inception, Gemini has used a blue purple melank to distinguish himself from other AI tools. The icon design features a four -point brightness, which has now become a visual short hand across the AI space. But with many other platforms using similar designs, it is understood that Google wants to clarify its identity.

The latest version of the Gemini icon has the same brightness, but now each point contains a different color: blue, red, yellow and green. The icon is mostly blue to the right, while the left side adds a subtle melanin to the depth. This new form is more closely linked to the freshness ‘G’ logo, which is recently developed by Google.

This latest change was seen in the beta version 16.25 of the Google app on Android. So far, the icon has been published in only one place: during the audio review generation. It has not yet been made more widely in the Gemini app on Android, iOS, or desktop. However, this can be a preview of a limited appearance of what is coming.

This is not the first time that Google has adjusted the gymnasium branding. Back in April, the company tweeted the icon’s colors a bit to make the app more visible on the home screen. And in May, when Gemini Advanced was named “AI Premium”, the red version of the Gemini logo disappeared quietly.

Although this new multi -colored icon looks like a small refreshment, it shows the branding move more deliberately. Placing the rising, clear and permanent design of AI services in Google platforms helps consumers separate the products separately. It also helps to make the Gemini icon more connected to the Google brand.

From a branding point of view, this change is meaningful. The new color treatment reinforces that it is Google’s AI product, not just another assistant. With its new shape, the Gemini icon now stands more clearly in the sea of similar designs.

We have to wait and see if this latest design soon rolls on a widely widespread role. But it seems that Gemini is another step towards feeling the central part of Google’s AI projects.
