Samsung devices are nothing if there are no gold mines for treasury hunters, especially those who work in hidden menos. Just shining through good locks and its numerous modules shows how custom a UI is needed. However, not every new feature needs an external download. Often, these options are hidden in the skin of the stock – you need to know where to see.

Although you may have heard of a deep secret Wi -Fi menu within your Samsung phone settings, there is another hidden menu list for people who rely on the Samsung Gallery daily. The Gallery Labs menu offers several additional features of the default image viewer. There are toggle here on the toggle, but in particular one made the search function more accessible. Let me explain
How to activate hidden Samsung Gallery Labs Menu
Before I detail the specific gallery labs menu item, you will need to enable the menu itself. Although access to the hidden menu in the system app may be scary, it is not much. How to activate it is:
- Open the Samsung Gallery.
- Tap on three line Menu Buttons on the bottom right of the screen.
- Select Settings.
- Next, scroll down About the gallery. Tap on it.
- Now, repeatedly tap the version number below the big gallery heading.
- After several taps, you should see a gallery lab under the page activation captions.
To access the Gallery Labs menu, go back Settings Scroll down the menu and the list. Tap it to enter the menu.
Now, for the best gallery labs setting

I never understood why Samsung placed the gallery app search icon in the top of the screen. When the Galaxy S24 FE uses large, heavy devices, it hurts so much that I rarely use it. This means manually passing through thousands of images. However, a setting in the gallery labs fixes it.
Under A UI 7.x Toggle the menu sub -heading, search tab. You will need to re -enter the app and re -enter the app, but once you do, you will see the search icon that has now moved to the bottom tab bar. Now, instead of needing a other hand or putting my device at risk of drawing with one hand, I can easily twist my thumb a few millimeters, tap the search icon, and start searching quickly. The screenshots below offer a visual explanation of what toggles do.
Default sequence (Search tab disable). The search tab was enabled via gallery labs ..
See it? This is a subtle change, but it changes the search icon with something that is far away to reach it, much more easily accessible.
What else can I change in the Gallery Labs menu?

This is not the only thing you can comply with the Gallery Labs menu. Although this can be the only UI 7. X -related toggles, the features added to the old version are also available.
Some other gallery labs menu highlights include:
- Album Entry Lox: If you do not want to remove images in Samsung’s secure folder, you can use this feature to prevent them from accessing them. As Samsung explained, “Once an album is locked, its contents are not shown on pictures and album tabs.” To lock a album, select it, tap the menu button, and select the lock album.
- Details EXIF show: Want to see more specific details about your JPEG images? Togel the layout, and you can see them all.
In particular, considering that Samsung adds new features based on each UI version, we can expect that more goods will be settled with the arrival of an UI 8. Now, play with different settings to develop your gallery experience as much as possible.
