Now for years, most Chrome Box has run some different Intel or AMD processors. Occasionally, the device used the Medetic chip, but they were often low -power and cheap devices that were difficult to recommend. Arish -based processors have done a great job for Apple on Mac, and they are also being used in more and more Windows PC. Now, Lenovo (my favorite Chromebook makers) and Google are giving a real shot with 9 649 Chromebook Plus 14.
Companies say the Medetic Communio Ultra 910 chip and its ANPU 50 can compete – but more interesting for me is that Lenovo is also promising for up to 17 hours of battery. When I see it, I will believe this claim. In the best battery life, the minor has suffered almost every chromebock in recent years. But in terms of battery life and overall performance, the Intel -powered Chrome Box has provided something that Intel’s chrome boxes can improve.
Time for nutty grati sunglasses. Lenovo’s Chrome Book Plus is 14, as you expected, a 14 -inch laptop that looks exactly similar to the Silver MacBook Pro. It is definitely more useful (and strange name) of Lenovo more stylish and sleek than the Idea Pad Flex 5i Chrome Book Plus. It weighs only 2.58 pounds (almost a pound less than Flex 5i) and is only 62 inches thick. In addition to the Communio Ultra 910 chip, Lenovo includes either 12GB or 16GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. Lenovo is not even entering the screen. The 14 -inch OLED panel can be manufactured with a touch screen and has 1,920 x 1,200 resolution. The resolution is relatively modest, but fully accordingly you expect the price.
Lenovo
There are some other good touchs throughout. Lenovo’s latest quad speaker system is the first Chrome Bok with a dolby Atmosphere Sound, which includes two downward -moving woofers. In recent years, audio quality has increased significantly on laptops, so I look forward to hearing what Lenovo can provide. The 5 megapixel webcam has a much more resolution compared to most other chromeboxes, and also has a fingerprint reader for safe login.
Everyone was told, this Chrome Book is more expensive than many other options. But when you compare its species and design with other chrome boxes in this price range, Lenovo’s latest location looks great. Of course, we have to make sure that the Medetic chip is quite powerful and also see how the battery life is, but Lenovo’s track record is so strong that I am looking forward to see if we have the new king of Chrome Box.
New AI features
Given that Google is focused on incorporating AI’s features everywhere wherever you turn, it is no surprise that there are a handful of new AI tricks. The first two are the two that are currently special to Lenovo’s Chrome Book Plus 14: Smart Grouping and AI image editing in the Chrome Book Gallery app. Google has been teasing smart grouping for a while. It will look at your open tabs and documents and ask if you want to organize them at a separate virtual desk. And the gallery app now has some AI -powered modification features such as removing the background or converting your images into stickers.
Beyond them, there is a group of AI features that are coming to all Chrome Book Plus laptops, many of which will be aware that if you have focused on what Google has released on other platforms in recent months. For example, you can now put a long pressure on the launcher and select an area of the screen to run the search. As always, the default example is shopping – see a pair of shoes you want, highlight it and find Google for you. The merger looks good, however, your results are shown with a pop over window so you do not need to leave the app that you are using.
Similarly, the arrest of the text analyzes the text in an image and suggests things like calendar appointments while reading it. Or highlighting a picture of a recipe can draw all your items to the Google Document list.
Lenovo
The quick insertion key, which was introduced earlier in the Galaxy Chrome Book Plus of Samsung last year, can now be used to produce and insert images of AI at your text cursor site – it is not limited to Google Apps only. Finally, Google’s “helping me” device has a new “easy” option that can take complex language (can think of scientific specifications) and put it in a simple language to make it easier to understand.
Whoever buyers this year Chrome Bok this year will have a concrete advantage: Google One AI Pro Plan’s entire 12 months, which includes access to Google Drive Storage 2TB and more advanced Gemini features (you can find all the exact details here). Given that this is a $ 20 monthly plan, it is a solid extra cost – at least for storage, if you are not interested in Gemini.
As far as Lenovo’s new hardware is concerned, I’m looking forward to trying to see if ARM architecture can provide a large scale of battery life and performance that the company is promising.
