- Honor has revealed that its upcoming magic V5 Foldable Phone will be added to only 8.8 mm thick.
- This means that the new foldable is thinner than a packet of chewing gum or CD case.
- The Magic V5 is set to launch in China on July 2.
Samsung is ready to launch a Galaxy Z Fold 7, which looks significantly thinner than previous models. However, rival brand Honor says its upcoming magic will be the thin book style foldable phone in the market. Now, the company has eliminated specific details.
Honor announced that when the magic V5 would be only 8.8 mm thick. This means that it is slim from a packet of chewing gum or Jewel CD case (M 10 mm). This OPPO Find is also slightly thinner than N5, which is the current record holder 8.93 mm thick. I am guessing that the measuring magic V5 does not include a large -scale camera collision.
In any case, the magic V2 was already thinner to the pen, but the V5 clearly takes things one step further. So you should definitely keep an eye on this new model if you want a book -style foldable phone that will not get out of your pocket or take a lot of space in your bag.
Honor has not yet revealed the weight of the phone, but it will be a fierce competition from Vivo X Fold 5. Vivo says its upcoming foldable phone will be lighter than X -Fold 3, which was the lighter foldable in the world at 219 grams.
Honor Magic V5 is set to launch in China on July 2. There is no word on the World Launch window right now, but history shows that we will see widespread release by August or September.
