Amazon India announced the launch of its diagnostic services in the country on Sunday. The new Amazon Diagnostic Service of e -commerce giant facilitates test samples from a user’s doorstep. Customers can track lab tests, schedules and appointments, and access digital reports through the Amazon app. The service, which was developed in partnership with the Orange Health Labs, has been developed in six cities in India.

The company revealed that its diagnostic service would be available in six cities, including Bangalore, Delhi, Grogram, Noida, Mumbai and Hyderabad. Customers can access the Amazon diagnosis through a dedicated page on the Orange Health Labs website, where they can track lab tests online, schedule and track appointments, and access digital reports.
Amazon says consumers can book the test and its delivery partners can pick up samples for less than 60 minutes from 6am and 10pm. Users of routine tests, users can get digital reports within six hours. The service is currently available in more than 450 PIN codes, and offers more than 800 diagnostic tests.
Amazon’s diagnosis is an extension of the company’s medical services in the country. This is already through the Amazon Clinic to provide virtual consultation with doctors and the threshold of prescription medicines through Amazon pharmacy.
The company also claims that it is connecting the experience from the end -to -end, with the Amazon Health Dash Board, with features such as real -time slots, map -oriented address verification, and access to secure digital report. Amazon says it will follow the “toughest data privacy and quality standards”, but details about these features have not been shared.
With the diagnosis of Amazon, Tech Dev has enrolled in India’s $ 15 billion (about 1.3 million crores) diagnostic markets, which are largely driven by large corporations and small labs as a lab testing service on site. Home diagnosis services have only surfaced in the last decade, and the Covade 19 has become popular during pandemic diseases.
