Members of the Zenimex Workers United-CWA Union have confirmed the contract with parent company Microsoft. The contract with the union representing the video game studio’s quality insurance employees is the first time Microsoft has contracted any union in the United States. As with a lot of organizing efforts, the move has been a long time. The group of employees voted for the alliance in 2023, and Microsoft immediately recognized the Zenimax Workers United-CWA after the vote results. Microsoft also formulated a neutral policy on the union’s organizing in the Zenimex Official in 2024. Zenmex and Microsoft’s QA workers signed a temporary deal this May.
The agreement includes provisions for wages increase and minimum salaries, as well as industry -related content such as clear credit policy such as QA and reservations for employees related to AI use.
