Even with one of the best smart thermostas, keeping your home cool in the summer can really be expensive, especially if you like to blast AC. This summer, though, I decided to do something different by investing in the smart fan for my room, and doing so enjoyed as much as it was cool.
Every year, I think about ways to reduce my electric bill by weather. For example, this winter, I picked up a smartspace heater so that I would warm my bedroom with my phone and turn it off with my voice before bed instead of running all night. With the expectation of heat waves this summer, I thought I could do the same with a smart fan instead of running my air conditioner all the time.
After I went to my friend’s apartment, I first got the idea, where he had a tower fan from the drain in his room. Although it was not a smart device, it had an easy control of the remote so that you could change its speed and settings without getting from the sofa. Since I have a toddler who likes to steal and hide remote, as well as an art for smart home gadgets, I decided to spend a little more on the smart tower fans, and my investment is already paying.

Since I already have several stands of his wire light on my porch and some of his smart bulbs in my home, I decided to take the 42 -inch smart tower fan 2 Max for my room.
Although you can control smart home devices from various manufacturers using Google Home or Alexa app or even your voice with the best smart speaker, once I get a brand, I like to stay with it. One of the problems with testing the load of different smart home gadgets is that when they are from different brands, you end up with a ton of different apps on your smartphone.
Guavi’s smart fan arrived in a large cardboard box and inside, there was a fan, a circular stand for him, a power adapter and my surprise, a connection with a packet of cotton sticks that you can soak in essential oils. I have to admit that I haven’t tried it yet because I am fresh with essential oils but this is a good extra and something I look forward to testing.

Stand screws fall on the bottom of a fans without making a simple assembly. However, I really like how the drainage below it is, which makes its power cable easier to run from the center to the edge of the stand.
With the gathering of my smart fan, it was time to set it up and see if the 42 -inch tower fans would really have a difference in helping to cool my room.

Since I had already installed the Govi app on my phone, the smart tower was included in the Fan 2 Max. I just tapped the Plus icon in the upper right corner of the app and waited for a few seconds to scan for new devices. My new smart fan showed almost immediately, and I went through the pair process and linked it to my home network.
One thing I really like about guavie is that once you connect your account to Google Home or Alexa, new devices are automatically added to any platform on any platform to your smart home. There are no extra steps to go to you and it is very easy to control them with your voice. For example, I just asked Google to turn its smart fan speed to 10 without any problem.
Within the guavage app, you can adjust and customize all settings of the Smart Tower Fan 2. You can also set a shadowler or timer as well as lock the device that is perfect if you have a curious toddler as I do.
One thing that really impressed me is that, in addition to turning off or off the second feature of the fans, you can change the angle. As I pointed to the sofa right in my room, I turned the angle to 40 degrees so that it blows cool air on everyone sitting there but does not blow papers or other loose items in a lot of parts of the room.

Since not everyone in your home can ride with smart devices or have access to the app required to control them, there are also physical control in the upper part of the smart tower fan. In the middle, there is a power button with the button for the night light and a timer to the right, while on the left, there is a mode button and the lock button.
My absolute favorite thing about these touch sensitive controls, though, is the slider underneath them, which you can use to reduce or increase the fans’ speed.
Guavi’s Smart Tower Fan 2 Max has five built -in modes between which you can switch, including ordinary, sleep, nature, DIY models and auto. I had mistakenly began to leave it normal before changing the mood of nature. I really like this mood because it imitates the feeling of winding day.
So bright as it is cool

Now for the kicker, just as on my previous guavie smart heater, the smart tower fan 2 Maxas is under its digital display. There are some cheap smart fans without this feature of Guavi, but I enjoyed it on my smart heater so much that I decided to pay a little extra cost.
If you ever have a tower fan or an excellent air purifier in a dark room, you will know how easy it is to collide. The next day, my wife mistakenly slipped in our bedroom over the air purifier, which does not have such a light, which reinforced my decision to get a smart fan with me.
Within the guavage app, you can change the colors and brightness of the Smart Tower Fan 2 nightlight. All the basic colors are of front and center, but you can also open color wheels to make your choice and then save a different section of my colors.
Just like Goyu’s smart lights, there are some scenes to choose even though not much. Of course, you may have a light -like light -like light, but you can set it on the jungle, sea, comfortable or even sleeping. This is not all, however, there is also a DIY section where you can make your own scenes that either make the Smart Tower Fan 2 light twinkle or appear as gradual.
I know this is a small thing, but the entertainment aspect was one of the reasons I decided to turn my home into a smart home. Although my son likes choosing color and showing them on fans, I too have fun to try to check all the scenes and get the color of light to meet the show or movie mood, in which I was watching on TV.
Smart taxable?

One of the main reasons for investing in some small fans or even larger tower style fans is to save money on electricity, so you don’t need to reduce your air conditioner or run it often. Now with a regular fan, you have to either get up to adjust it or turn off or use a remote control. It is easy to be remote, but it may lose or in the wrong place you have something else, and you have to change its batteries at some point.
Although with a smart fan like this, I am able to adjust or turn it on or off by using my phone or just my voice. Likewise, you can do something far away with any internet connection that forgets to close it before leaving the house.
The Drew Tower Fan ($ 99, Amazon) I saw my friend’s house is certainly cheaper than the smart that I have picked up. However, when I bought it back in April, it was just as on sale as it is now, and instead of paying the full price, I raised it in $ 119. Then for $ 20 extra or now $ 30, I would say that the Smart Tower Fan is able to pay a higher price for all additional features of 2 Max offers. In addition, on top of physical control, when the Internet goes down, you have a powerful fan of tower style or if you decide that smart home lifestyle is not just for you.
Now that I have tested and used Goy’s Smart Tower Fan 2 Max for the past month or more, I am tempted to take something else for the kitchen and our bedroom. I don’t yet have to clean it, but based on its design, it seems that it will be easier to do so in the time.
