Earlier this week, Samsung announced a UI 8 Watch, which will be debuted with the next Galaxy Watch in July. An UI 8 watch update brought new Samsung health features, including gold at bedtime, vascular load, running coach, and antioxidant index. Although Samsung Health properties are still free to use, matters can turn forward as the Korean brand is considering Samsung Health Subscription projects.
Interviewing CNET, Dr. Han Pak, senior vice president and head of digital health in Samsung, revealed that the company is looking for a premium subscription model for Samsung Health, which is like Garman Connect Plus or Fit Bit Premium, which requires Samsung Health for Samsung Health. The basic features will potentially be free.
These new modern features, which may require subscription, can be added free of charge with premium galaxy watches (and potentially even galaxy ring), while older model users will have to pay for their access.
Right now, the new Samsung Health Features introduced with an UI 8 Watch are available for old watches like the Galaxy Watch 5 series by beta program in the United States and South Korea. However, their availability depends on whether there are advanced LED sensors in your watch.

For example, vascular load and antioxidant index properties are only available on the Galaxy Watch Ultra, while running coach Galaxy Watch will work 7 or later. It is also noteworthy that vascular loads and antioxidant index labs are being introduced as the features of the labs, meaning they have experimental features and are available as a preliminary preview before their stable release.
