There is a new Android phone on the block, and it’s a… interesting. On June 16, the Trump Organization announced the T -1. This is an Android phone section of the new Trump mobile brand, “sleek, designed with a gold smartphone engineer and proudly designed and made in the United States.”
In fact, the T1 phone looks like a bit messed up. Beyond the design of full gold, there is nothing to write? Here is a 6.8 -inch emulated display (with an unknown resolution), 5,000 mAh battery, 20W “fast charging,” and a 50 MP primary camera with 2 MP depth sensor and 2MP macro lens. And there is no need to mention that the T1 is almost certainly developed abroad, despite the claim that it is in the United States.
Trump’s T -One Phone is about to release in August 9 499 ($ 100 payment), and if a small part of you is thinking of buying it, let me stop you there. Instead of Trump’s new phone, there are five other Android phones that you should buy instead.

Perhaps the best alternative to Trump phone is Google Pixel 9A. It has the same $ 499 price tag, but yet almost every understandable manner is reasonably better than the T1 phone.
According to the sunglasses, there is no competition. It is difficult to guess how T1 is without knowing its chip set, but the tanker G4 chip in Pixel 9A is almost certainly better than the handset of Trump. Here is also a large 5,100 mAh battery, 23W wired and 7.5W wireless charging, and 48m MP primary camera + 13 MP ultra -wide camera coambo that is obliged to embarrass T -2’s camera setup.
Software experience at Pixel 9A is also very good. The T1 phone sends the ship with Android 15 and does not have any official update policy for the Android OS upgrade or the number of security patches that it will get in the future. Meanwhile, Pixel 9A is already running Android 16 and will continue to get updated via 2032. Also, if you don’t like the idea of binding your phone so closely with Google, you can always install graphine OS on Pixel 9A, and prevent Google from collecting your personal data.

There have been some recent concerns about Google Pixel phones and swelling in battery, but if after -sales support is a concern for you, Google has easily succeeded here. Google has a proven track record to take care of any problem when they pop up, and you can always extend a one -year default warranty with Google’s preferred care insurance plan. Compared, we do not know how Trump mobile will handle such a thing.
Google Pixel is one of our favorite Android phones of 9 years, and if you have a budget of $ 500, this is really the best phone you can buy at this price.
Samsung Galaxy S 24 per

If you have a little more to spend and are not too enthusiastic with Pixel 9A for any reason, another great option that is considered is the Samsung Galaxy S 24 per. S24 FE usually retail at 50 650, but you can currently buy it for only $ 525, which is an incredible price of everything he offered.
While Trump’s T -1 has a display with mystery resolution, which may be amazing or total garbage, we know that the Galaxy S24 is a wonderful display. 6.7 inches size is larger than Pixel 9A and is similar to the T1 phone. With an emulated panel, 1080 x 2340 resolution, 120 HHz refresh rate, and 1,900 nets brightness, the S24 FE screen is a great one in its class. It also has excellent performance, good battery life, and a strong camera setup – including 50 MP primary camera, 8 MP telephoto camera, and 12 MP ultra -wide camera. Pixel 9A is a more reliable overall camera phone, but the Galaxy S24 is still more capable than you will get with Trump’s smartphone.

Like Google, Samsung also provides on the software front. The Galaxy S24 currently runs Android 15 and will continue to receive Android updates and important security patches during 2031. AI has many features as part of Samsung’s Galaxy AI Sweet.
Pixel 9A is a better choice if the quality of the camera is your first concern (and if you prefer small phones), but if you want a large display, fast performance, and many features of AI, the Galaxy S24 FE is a simple recommendation – and the extra $ 25 cost over T1 phones.
MotoG Styls (2025)

Google and Samsung Android may be the two most prominent names in the world, but Motorola also has a great presence. Not all of his phones are winners, but the recently released MotoG stylus (2025) is very good – and it is just for the T1 phone to walk.
MotoG stylus is slightly cheaper than T1 phone only at $ 400, yet it is or is better matched by all T1 all the species. The 6.7 -inch AMOLED panel looks great, 5,000 MAH battery offers reliable tolerance, and the 68W wired charge speed is funny. 50MP primary and 13MP ultra -wide cameras are also amazingly good.

Beyond the special sheet, the hardware is also strong. Gibraltar is a wonderful leather waist of a wonderful saturated blue that, if you ask me, run the laps around the completion of gold -looking gold on the T -1 phone. Motorola’s phone is even more durable, which features IP68 dust/water resistance rating and a mill-810H military grade stability rating. In addition, as the name suggests, MotoG stylus (2025) also comes with a bundle stylus that is stored inside the phone when you are not using it.
The Motorola Updated Policy is probably the biggest weakness here, but if you have no objection to receiving only two Android updates and three years of security patch (which may be taller than T1), the MotoG stylus (2025) is better and cheap phone than T1. This is an easy choice.
HMD fusion

I had already touched it, but Trump’s T -1 is able to repeat a big question: What happens when something goes wrong? What happens if you break your screen? If the battery is a problem? There is zero information on the Trump mobile website, which is not a particularly good sign. If these questions are in mind when buying a phone, you should check HMD fusion.
Unlike most Android phones available today (including T1 phones), HMD fusion is incredibly worth the user repair. You can easily replace the phone screen, battery, charging port, speaker and back cover. Spare parts are easily sold by IFIXIT, and they are also affordable (a new battery is just $ 33 and a new screen cost $ 57).

Another cool feature of HMD fusion is that it can be customized with modular accessories, including gaming controller and high -tech flash color. The sunglasses are not the best there, but considering how cheap Fusion is, they are quite solid. You get a 6.56 -inch LCD display that has a 90Hz refresh rate, 108MP rear camera, 5,000 MAh battery, 33W wired charging, and micro -SD card.
For a phone that costs only $ 300, this is a beautiful solid package. The Galaxy S24 FE and Pixel 9A are very good phones for sharp performance, tremendous cameras, and long -term software updates (Fusion will only be updated via Android 16), but if you want to keep things more affordable and the phone you can easily fix yourself in HMD Fusion.

The last alternative to the Trump T -One phone I am seeing is Pankt MC02. Unlike other phones mentioned here, Pankt does not run the traditional version of MC02 Android. Instead, it is powered by the Oppositrophe OS-a version of the Graphine OS that has its own suit of security-based applications and services. This includes limiting requests from a built -in VPN, deep privacy control, and access to any personal data, which will allow them to access a “ordinary” Android phone.
Pankt MC02 is not already installed with Google Play Store or any Google Apps, but if you want, you can still easily access all these things-it requires only two additional steps in the name of better security. As far as the speculation goes, the Pankt MC02 is not so interesting. But that’s not. If you want the most privacy phone in the market today, you will be pressured to find a better thing better than the Pankat offer.
Pankt MC02 is priced at 9 599, making it a bit more expensive than the T -One phone. But it is important to remember that Pankt offers many features of privacy that you will not get with Trump’s phone, and if it is important to you, the Pankt is better options far away.
Don’t buy Trump’s T1 phone
I can continue about other Android phones that I think you should buy Trump’s smartphone. OnePlus 13R is only $ 100 more and is one of my favorite Android phones throughout the year. The Samsung Galaxy A36 5G is not a great tool, but with better design, better display, and low price, this is a much better choice as a whole. Hell, even if you are a Dare Hard Android user, I will recommend buying iPhone 16E on T1 phone any day of the week.
T1 Phone is not an Android phone that you should spend on your money.
I say that the T -1 is not due to the politics around the phone, but like someone who has been writing about Android phones for a decade and covered it. Beyond the slightest spectrum and non -compromised price, the T1 phone vibration is still closed. Official render looks like a sharp photoshop job (and it does not find important information like a bad thing), display resolution and chip set, and Trump is capable of laughing on the mobile website (in a section, 5000 mAh battery is called “5000mah long life camera”).
Remove Trump associated with the T1 phone, and the above list of my suggested alternatives is the same. This is not an Android phone that you should spend on your money. If you are in the market for something new, mention another phone here. You will be happy that you did.
