Patrion is changing his business model, and new creators will soon make a difference. At the end of this summer, Patrone will increase the percentage of the accounts of new launching creators. Although the current creators will retain their current income, people who join the platform will abandon Patron a large part of their earnings after the change.
So far, Patrion depends on its selected level, the creators get 8 % cut or 12 % cut, although the 8 % plan is the most popular. The new price model will introduce a single, universal class that takes 10 % of the creators’ income.
If you have ever heard of a podcast on Spatifs or YouTube video, then you may have heard the host mentioned something about “joining Patron” and accepting the special content posted there. Patrion is a membership platform founded in 2013, which allows creators to earn repeated revenue directly from their fans, or “guardians” through payment subscriptions. Creators can offer special content, facilities or access in exchange for monthly assistance.
This adjustment reflects investment in new tools, safety features and infrastructure for creators, Patrion says. Following the 2019 rehabilitation, the first major change in the Patron Facebook structure has been identified, which introduced the tredit projects. This update will not affect existing users, but it can affect where future creators choose to build their communities and to monitor their work.
The new prices will apply only to the creators who launch the pattern page on or after August 4, so if you have ever thought of making a pattern, the time has come.
