The worst of the world is facing the worries of the first world. I’m not talking about the ability to lose social media, or send memes to my friends, though this is a part of it. The Internet has infiltrated every aspect of our lives, and lack of access means that many modern facilities we have accepted are useless – even if you are connected to the same local network.
I know this for a fact, because at the moment my internet is disconnected for more than a week. While I was able to teacher some of my devices so that I could continue to work without any problem, the lack of stable home Wi -Fi means that a group of my devices was completely disconnected. Unless I realized that the best Android phones is a hidden feature that can help lift and run everything using my current wireless network.
How many of you knew about Ethernet teachers, let it use it?

My problem

Although I won’t bother you with the whole story, the main problem with my home internet is visible to my home with an internet provider cable. In particular, it needs to be changed.
My home is wired at a center 300 feet away from the road, in which primary internet cables are divided into all other homes with the same ISP. Apparently my problem is with this integrated cable, and its only solution is a total alternative – which is not a small task when you are talking about something under concrete, dirt and asphalt.
Until last week, my ISP has guessed that it will not be able to complete the task by June 19 – two weeks after the issue was reported. Which is less than the ideal.
Although I can teachers some devices on my phone, and eventually I can eat in my 300GB monthly allowance, but it didn’t go for two weeks. Not until I was extremely conservative with the consumption of my data. In the upper part, it will leave almost all of my connected devices without a wireless connection. Even if I can connect them all with my hotspot at the same time, it would mean that all wireless settings should be restructured to connect them to the new network. If I am fully honest, this will be a better part of one day.
Thankfully there was a solution .. I just had to plug a phone in my home network, and share his mobile connection through Ethernet. Properly designated Ethernet Teachering feature.

Ethernet teachers first debuted in Android 11 in 2020. This name is absolutely literal, and that means you can plug your Android phone into any Ethernet port, and share the phone’s internet connection. For all times where wireless and USB teachers are either practical or straightforward.
My ISP router is quite terrible. Which is not surprising to anyone who has used this type of devices before (and instead of getting an excellent cable modem). But I can’t get rid of it, because my connection needs a modem and third -party options will not work. Not easy anyway. So I have an old Wi -Fi -5 and B system that enters the modem through Ethernet.
There is no problem in the Orbi system right now, and all my devices were still linked to it. But since he was not getting the internet from the modem, his functioning was limited. Wow, when my epidemic video bull will still save my hard drive, or activate the cham, I was unable to connect with my phone.
Equipped with unlimited data ESIM, a Google Pixel 8A and an old USB-C hub, I managed to get the whole house back at any time. There were a couple of obstacles, but nothing is serious, and now my house has returned to normal.
It was not all a clean trip

It was not easy to return online as I just plug an Ethernet cable in my phone. You must first turn to Ethernet teacher, and it took me a minute to know that I’m trying to do it all wrong.
My first waste was to go to the USB priority menu and get Ethernet teachers from there. It does not work, basically because Android cannot take control from the adapter. But even if it can, only the teacher’s option is USB – which may not work.
If you ever find yourself in a similar condition you need to go towards Hotspot and Teaching Menu In network settings. Ethernet teachers are right at the bottom, and as soon as you plug Ethernet cables in your phone.
The second major problem is that Ethernet teachers used a hack of high power. To the location where a completely charged pixel 8A died at some time before 7am so you have to make sure that your adapter has at least one and USB-C charging port so that everything is running.
A quite powerful wireless charger can work, assuming that you are fine with the device that are running a little hotter than usual. Sadly, the pixel 8 is limited to 7.5W Qi charging, and it was not even close to the appropriate.
Android also has a habit of suspending charging from time to time, when it makes sense that the phone has been plugged for a long time. It is designed to protect the battery, and the argument is a good thing. But that means I need to check the phone from time to time and make sure it is not at 12 % of a sudden.
Nevertheless, in the grand scheme of things, these are all very trivial problems that are less trouble with not having the Internet.
Down line
Without Ethernet teachers, I won’t have fun yet. In fact, I might have purchased one of the best mobile hotspots, Kiev and so on and like that. But the fact is that I have a full drawback full of spare phones, and cables, which means that I really didn’t have to wait for a new hardware and SIM card.
I am only grateful that my home network has been arranged in such a way that I didn’t have to change wireless settings on all my smart devices for which (hopefully) should be a temporary switch. I could stay with the Internet for a day or two, but without proper access is a bit more in 2+ weeks.
If you are interested, I have used 325GB of data since I started using Ethernet teachers – which would have been completely destroyed by a normal data cap.
