WWDC of this year (Developers conference around the world) A man in the event was curiously missing from the show: AI chief John Gynendra in Apple. Industry’s Internal Mark Gorman – In today’s own newsletter power -on edition – share the fear that Gynendra will probably not be too long for Capetino.

Apple’s AI’s failure exposed many internal events in the company, including the fact that Gynendra has always felt like an external. His approach to the AI has also been quite different from Apple’s other executives, and was recently demolished after Apple failed to improve intelligence.

However, in last year’s WWDC event, Apple’s head AI was very present and even participated in some interviews. The WBBC 2024 was also an event where the company proudly demonstrated the future Apple Intelligence Features, which were not ready to launch anywhere. These features – especially the hot expected Sri Digital Assistant – are still incomplete and missing.

This year, Apple took a very cautious approach. Apple’s executive Craig Federgie mentioned a little about how the company’s AI needs a little more time to be perfected. Instead, the amazing new liquid glass over halls for most of the event iOS 26 and other operating systems were exhibited.

In this cautious manner, John Gynendra was also kept out of sight. Whether the reason is that Apple thought it would not have much to join, or because the company lost its confidence, it was not clear. Gorman believes that the absence of Gynendra by the WWDC may be a clear sign that it will not stay in Apple for a long time.

Gynendra had previously worked in Google, and served as chief of search and artificial intelligence. His work was inevitable, why Apple kept it first. Unfortunately, he never felt at home in the company, and how it was shown Apple Intelligence Handed

Other executives of Apple, such as Craig FedergieAI was also delayed by the company because they believe it would not be as important as it came out. Federgie really saw AI’s ability when he used Openi’s chat GPT to help himself a small personal project code for himself.

Whole Apple Intelligence The trial has been frustrated for many, but if Gynendra is allowed to leave, he hopes to get another profitable offer soon.
