    • Ankar is remembering his PowerCur 10000 Power Bank (Model A1263).
    • One problem is that these power banks are causing fire or bursting.
    • The affected users can find a $ 30 gift card or free replacement power bank.

If you have a 100000 power bank, you would like to take a quick look at the product details below. Ankar has issued a memory for these power banks with Model No. A1263.

Eskar explained that the Power Cores sold between June 1, 2016 and December 31, 2022, 10000 Power Bank (Model A1263), poses a potential risk of fire protection due to lithium -ion battery problem. Specifically, this problem can cause more heat to the battery, which can melt plastic ingredients, smoke and fire risks.

According to the US Consumer Product Safety Commission (USCPSC), this memory contains about 1,158,000 units that were ordered online through Amazon, Nigg, E Bay, and Ankar’s website. Until now, the Encker has not only received reports of fire, but also 19 reports of the blasts. It is said that two of these reports include minor injuries, while 11 reports have resulted in damage to the property, which has caused a total loss of more than $ 60,700.

How to check if your Power Bank is part of memory or not

It is important to note that the molecule is remembering the power banks sold in the United States with only some serial numbers. You will be able to know if you own the affected model by taking a look at the product details. As mentioned earlier, these details can be found under the device. A1263 says make sure the model number, which can be found under the name of the product.

If the model number is match, you will need to go to the Encker’s website and find out whether or not your serial number is included in the memory. The company suggests that if the serial number is over, you should request a guidance from the Ankar. Also, if your Power Bank has been confirmed to be part of the memory again, you should immediately stop using the device.

What to do if your Power Bank is part of memory

Encurring owners are offering either $ 30 gift cards or free replacement of their choice. You will need to copy the gift card or replacement for you, you will need to copy the example below.

Ankar requires that you take a photo that includes an affected unit and a piece of paper that include your name and contact information on it. If you do not have proof of purchase, you will need to write a “memory” and submission date on the device in a permanent marker. Finally, you will need to take another picture with the model number and serial number. Then you can go to Ankar’s website to make your claim.

After all this happens, you are advised to secure the power bank safely. This can be done by finding a garbage center that accepts lithium -ion batteries to dispose of. You do not want to throw the Power Bank in the trash or in recycling box because there is a high risk of fire. You can use the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) website to help find the right convenience.
