I’m starting to feel like we bought lemons, because it seems that Amazon’s prime video has quietly increased the number of ads on its content.
According to a Advoc report, the prime video has doubled the number of ads on its platform from three and a half minutes per hour. This is a big jump.

The report contains sources of dialogue with advertising buyers and documents viewed by Aid Week, but has not been officially confirmed by Amazon.
In the report, Kendra Tang, a programmed supervisor of the Rain Growth Agency, said, “(Amazon) told us that the advertisement burden was increasing. It was recently confirmed when we took more advantage of the system.”
Advertising is becoming normal at the time of streaming
I have not increased the number of ads when streaming on a prime video. However, it may be due to a slow rollout, or it may be related to the region, in which the United States faces high frequency and places like the UK, where I live, it is avoided, leaving the consumer experience effectively.
The prime video introduced ads in January 2024 in its first advertisement -free platform. Instead of creating a cheap ad -supported plan like some rival services, Amazon chose to add ads to its standard level and offered an additional 99 2.99 payment option a month to remove users.

Nevertheless, more advertising on the Prime Video is rarely welcomed. , And I need to surprise that the proportion of this hour will increase by six minutes in the coming months or years.
