    • The first largest Snapdragon 8 Elite General 3 leaks suggest that Qualcomm can offer two versions of Apple’s chip.
    • Learn, it also claims that 2027 flagship phones can be more expensive due to the cost of chastity.
    • It also looks like a standard flagship phone can use less capable flagship Snapdragon processor.

Snapdragon 8 Elite has strengthened many Android phones today, but we have already seen some Snapdragon 8 Elite General 2 leaks. Now, it seems that we have our first Snapdragon 8 Elite General 3 processor leak.

The digital chat station on Webu reported that Qualcomm SM 8950 chip set, which would be expected to be Snapdragon 8 Elite General 3, could be available in the “dual version”. Laper is temporarily called the SM8945, and this arrangement describes the arrangement with a pro -chips used in Apple’s A and its iPhones.

As a refresher, the iPhone 16 and 16 Plus ship with the A18 processor, while the iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max use the A18 Pro chip set. Both processors share the same CPU, but A18 Pro offers more cache and more capable GPU.

Qualcomm will allegedly use the TSMC’s 2NM manufacturing process for these chips, but there is some bad news. The cost of the chip has been “increased,” Tipster says, and the price of a new flagship phone released from the end of 2026 will increase.

The apparent increase in this price is that Snapdragon 8 Elite General 3 cannot be used in a standard flagship phone. Instead, these models can use the “SM8945” chip while more premium devices are fully developed by Snapdragon 8 Elite General 3. In other words, phones like the Galaxy S27 and Xiaomi 17 have less impressive than their Plus/Pro/Ultra counterparts.

Qualcomm has not yet revealed Snapdragon 8 Elite General 2, General 3 chip set has never been bad. Therefore, it is possible that now and at the end of 2026, matters between the launch window can change.
