The company behind the beloved toys like Metal, Barbie is partnering with Openi to bring AI to the toy before the end of the year.
In a new cooperation announced this week, Metal confirmed that he would use the Open Open Generative model, including the Chat GPT enterprise to create a “smart play experiment” for children.
Although companies have not exactly revealed what they are building, both physical toys and digital companions are on the table.
This is a major change for one of the world’s most famous toys, and a sign of how quickly the AI is moving screens, keyboards and work apps to childhood playrooms.
