A remost of Hallow: Combat Evolution is working in Microsoft, CEO, CEO of Gaming Division’s Gaming Division, suggested at the Xbox Games Showcase on Sunday. Spencer did not mention the game by name, but said it would “return to the classic”. The project will come next year when the Xbox celebrates its 25th birthday. Last year, Microsoft confirmed that unrealistic engines were developing multiple Hallow games in 5.
Hi could come back to 2026
The Xbox Games features an impressive lineup of the first -party Microsoft Games in the showcase, which includes call -off duty: Black Ops 7, Ground 2 and Caper. However, on the end of the show, Spencer came to talk about what was in the 25th year of the Xbox, 2026.
“The next year is a 25 -year mark of the Xbox, Spencer said in the showcase. It is a huge milestone for the platform and franchises that you have helped to build and popular. We couldn’t do it with us in this journey without everyone.”
“As we think of bringing a new generation of players to these famous franchises, I am excited to tell players for 25 years of Xbox, a new legend of the Xbox, Next forza, war gears: ED, and a classic return that begins with us.”

This last thing, though not clearly mentioned, is clearly referred to Hallow. Hello: Combat Evolution launched on the original Xbox in 2001 and explained the first person’s shooter gender. The game has become a system seller and the Xbox’s largest franchise has been “from the beginning”, as Spencer said.
Thus, it seems that Hello Studios, first known as 343 Industries, is developing a remost of Halla: War Evolution. After the Xbox Games showcase, Verge’s Tom Warren made the same claim in a post on X.
Keep in mind, this game has already been re -developed in 2011 with the Hallow: Combat Evolution Breastfeeding, which is marked for 10 years of origin. Later Ramsted Version Hallow: Master Chief Collection was bundered.
Last year, 343 Industries announced that it was re -nominating Hello Studios and confirmed several Hallow’s projects in development. The studio launched an unrealistic engine 5 footage set in the world of Hallow Games, and called it the basis of future titles in the series. Studio’s last Hello Game, Hello Lamdud, launched PC and Xbox Consoles in 2021.
Remsted Hallow: Combat Evolution can also land on rival consoles like PS5 and Nintendo Switch 2. Microsoft last year designed to start its special games on the PlayStation and Nintendo Switch Platform, which had several first -party games in PS5 in 2024 and 2025. Spencer also refused to refuse any Xbox franchises.
He told Bloomberg last year, “I do not see a kind of red lines in my portfolio, saying that ‘you should not do it’.”
