Although many apps have the same problems that I have encountered with the Cape Kit, I have been able to find my new favorite along with some other recommendations.

Edit: my new favorite video editing app
Megan Alice / Android Authority
When I came out to find the best video editing app for myself, I didn’t expect it to be edited. Nevertheless, the last app was released to compete with another service – threads – it was proved that he lacked many features that people wanted to see from Twitter.
But the modification is really impressive – even standing on its own, trying to reproduce the Cape Kit’s success. First, the editing is completely free, which is something that will attract many users (and who engulfed my interest). But my hopes were conservative because I remember that Instagram’s video editing tools only remember the early days to try to use the app permanently or crash, despite just dealing with some short clips.
The editing is really impressive – standing itself while trying to duplicate the success of the cap kit.
The amendment, however, was not disappointed. I was able to easily sew the clips together, add transitions, add audio, and record the voice over without any problem. Another essential feature for me is the ability to create title from the voiceover. This is a feature that often disappears or is closed behind the pay wall in other free video editing apps. But the amendments include this feature and allows you to edit captions in many ways.
Although many generative AI do not have features, I really prefer this. Instead of me, there will be less high quality filters and effects to choose than a group of features I never use. I do not think that when I edit the video in the edit, I am being bombed with features and indicators. Rather, I can focus on the features that are most important to me.
The important thing is that amendments do not apply to the watermark, nor do you force you to pay it to remove it. Nor does it just allow you to share your video on the Instagram profile. This means that this is a versatile tool that you can use for videos for a range of social media sites.
Other notable features include the ability to add green screen effect, overlays, customs text, and stickers. When it comes to adding music, the edit provides many licensed tracks you can use (though you will not save your video instead of downloading your video on Instagram.
A edge of editing is as an alternative

So is the editing just a cap kit clone? I will argue that it goes beyond the app that has affected it. This is, like the transition, thanks to some really impressive features. For example, the dissolution transfer combines two clips almost almost in a unrealistic way – as if it is merely integrating clips instead of just a simple transfer. Disapply is my favorite transfer, but there are many smart options to choose.
Another area where the amendment faces is its export standard. Free apps usually apply export resolution to about 1080p, sometimes even 720p. But the amendment allows you to export up to 60fps in 4K resolution.
I was also impressed by the cut -out feature, which can detect an item in your video and add it as your clip’s overlay. This feature includes object tracking, which means that even if your item is in motion, the cutout can adapt to it. This allowed me to make some entertainment meshups of my cat videos.
What are the modifications defects?
Editing avoids the losses of many free video editing apps, but that does not mean that it is without its flaws. First, it requires an Instagram account to use. I already use Instagram, so it wasn’t much trading for me.
Another error is that exporting videos, even when using the flagship Android device and using only 1080p resolution, is much slower than my choice. But it’s not so slow that I feel like it’s a deal breaker. Unlike Instagram, the amendment does not include templates.
For me, the biggest drawback is that this is a meta app.
For me, the biggest drawback is that this is a meta app. This means that it has no guarantee that it will not eventually be mane. The production of a large company means that the amendments have many resources, but Meta also has a track record of converting free products into people with advertising. I hope that the best new apps for Android will be modified without increasing any major warnings.
Are any other video editing apps that are able to try?

Despite being a great app for me, it may not fit appropriate for you. In this case, you would like to consider any of these alternatives:
- Inshot: If you are looking for more AI features and more matching with the cap kit, then it is worth trying to do it. Although some features have been paid, the premium plan is most cheaper than others and there is also the option of buying the app as a purchase. You can also have temporary access to premium features by looking at an ad. For example, I saw a 30 -second ad to remove the watermark from my video.
- Adobe Express: Adobe Express has a huge balance of free features, while it also includes the ability to modify and design photos. Although the UI may be slightly lacking and the workflow to add titles is not too intuitive, the app does not include ads interfering or water marks.
- Vn: VN has plenty of free features and gives you the ability to buy credit for AI features, which is cheaper than repeated memberships. Although you can use credit to prepare captions in the cloud, you allow to use this feature for free for free. One of the big bonuses is that it does not include a watermark.
- Youcut: The Uukat is from the same company that is inshot, but allows you to export without watermark. You can also see ads for premium features.
- Lightcuts: If you want most automatic experience to edit videos, light cut has a good free option. It can automatically trim the clips in your video and apply filters, but it lacks other features such as automatic captions.
In these apps, you will find a good option that is in line with your needs. For me, the edit is my favorite, because the features of templates and AI do not have a central position in my workflow.
