Admission level jobs, as we know, can soon be a matter of past. Open CEO Sam Altman says AI can now work effectively like junior level employees, and its skills are expected to be even better in the coming months.
He predicted that AI would eventually compete with the skills of an experienced engineer, while it was all individually able to work constantly at the end of a break.
“Today (AI) is like an internal that can work for a couple of hours, but at some point it will be like an experienced software engineer who can work for a few days,” Altman told a panel along with Sridhar Ramsami, CEO of the Asnaphilic Summit 2025 this week.

In the next year, we can see AI solving AI, solving solving complex business problems, added.
“In the next year, I will bet that in some limited cases, at least in some small ways, we begin to see agents that can help us discover new knowledge, or to find solutions to business problems that are extremely unusual,” he said.

This is a bold prediction that we have heard echoing through other tech CEOs like Navidia’s Jensen Huang, who have warned that those who refuse to embrace AI can find themselves in the unemployment office.
“You will not lose your job from any AI, but you will lose someone who uses AI,” he said at the Malikan Institute Conference last month.

Generative AI is ready to obstruct admission level jobs at a time when the Generation Z is stabilizing its place in workforce, but has not stopped the General Z from adopting technology.
A recent resume survey found that while one in 10 workers regularly reported the use of Chat GPT, General Z workers were double the possibility of using the device. The same study has shown that the majority of workers at any age view the Chattagpat as a helper tool. But more than half of the general Z workers considered it equal to another fellow worker or assistant, compared to 40 % thousand years and 35 % of the larger generations.
Ultman has broken the differences of generation in the use of AI before:
“(This is a) overall limiting, but like older people use chatgates as Google changes. People from their base and thirty decades may use it as a life advisor, and then, people in college use it as an operating system.”
Even the General Z accepted the AI, some tech leaders are alarming about the economic outcome of the AI -powered job market. Anthropic CEO Dario Amody has recently told Ekos that AI entry level can erase half of the white -collar jobs, causing unemployment from 10 % to 20 % of the sky.
Open Chattegot, who owns a revolutionary chat boot AI, has become one of the most advanced and widely used AI tools in the world since its release in 2022.
The latest open model of Open, powered by the GPT -4O, Chat GPT, can help you to plan your weekend, write term paper, or any other tasks. This real-time speech supports everything from conversation to the creation of multi-modal content-and you can get many powerful features for free.
