    Joe Mark / Android Authority

In early May, I began the process of removing myself (and my partner and family members) from T -Mobile. Having T -Mobile Subscribers for 10 years and rising prices and worse service, we decided that we have enough and ready to move forward.

I wrote this experiment in an article last month, telling it why I left T -Mobile and all the things that pushed me to the edge to change. But at that time, I was not sure what career I would change.

After a lot of Googleing and Research, I eventually chose my new cellphone service as a provider. Pricing was okay, these projects had my family and everything I needed, and I heard nothing but friends and colleagues.

It’s been a month when I made the switch, and it has been a beautiful eye opening experience. After being a T -Mobile customer for such a long time, there are some things that I have learned with my first month.

When was the last time you changed the cell phone carrier?

Porting number (mostly) was a piece of cake

    Joe Mark / Android Authority

Before my visible switch, the last time I was subject to the process of transfer of a cellphone number was a decade ago – and I don’t like how it went. That way, I was afraid of how matters transmit six lines from T -Mobile.

Surprisingly, all this went easily as I could ask.

When you set up your visible account and indicate that you want to move the phone number, you just have to enter the phone number you want to move, your current career account number, and transfer/port out from your career. Once it enters, the visible transfer request submits, when your number transfer is approved, you are alerted, and then indicates you to complete the activation.

All were told, the whole number transfer took 10-15 minutes in which I was seen-except all. When I moved my partner’s number, I mistakenly entered an old port out pin, which strangely closed their visible account in the rest of the night. However, the next day we managed to portray their number without any problem, so all this was finally done.

My cell service has not been worse

    Joe Mark / Android Authority

From one of the country’s biggest careers to a very small MVNO, my main concern was that my cell service was about to be removed. It is well -known that many MVNOs lose during a heavy network crowd, and go to T -Mobile’s visible (a Verizon MVNO), I was afraid that my service would not be as fast or reliable as I am.

Thankfully, this problem is not over. After a month after the visible, I have not felt any degree in the quality of service than what was with T -Mobile, nor are my parents or my partner.

I am pleasantly surprised to what extent has done well.

If anything, my service has really been a bit better. In my apartment complex, the laundry room and in the gym, which were practically dead zones for T -Mobile, I had no problem getting a strong signal with the visible. Your mileage will clearly depend on where you live and your local variants coverage, but I am glad how far I have performed so far.

Not having a family account is a big deal

Compared to T -Mobile, one of the most important differences about the visual (plus using Verizon Towers) is that it does not support family plans. This means that everyone is in charge of their account and bill, and after living in the same account with my partner, parents and grandmother for so many years, I was not sure how it would be.

Once again, this has been more smooth than I expected. The visible autopic system means that no one needs to worry about a bill shortage, and unlike T-Mobile, I can set up an autopaled with my partner and myself with credit cards-our bank account does not need to be linking.

And should any of us ever leave the invisible visa for anything else, everyone has their own account (and, so, their own portout pin) will also make things easier. I first made the mistake of moving my phone number to the visual, and as the basic account holder of our old T -Mobile Account, in a result, a headache that created a headaches to work with T -Mobile (very bad) customer support created a headache to make my partner a new primary account holder so that we could continue to transfer seconds. I’m really glad that if we ever switch to something else, there will be no problem with the visible.

Is very easy to use the android app of the visual

    Joe Mark / Android Authority

Ever since T -Mobile launches its T -Life app in 2023, it has been a nightmare to try to access and manage my T -Mobile account from Android Phone. The app is slow, irresponsible and uncertainly small.

Although the Android app is not perfect, it has been significantly better than T -Mobile. The account settings are easy to find, the bill/payment information is easily accessible, and it is not more burdensome with unnecessary flour piles-for which T-Life is notorious.

Although the visible app (or the fastest) is not the most beautiful to see, I appreciate how much everything is organized than T -Life. If I want to change my project or access features such as global passes or HD video streaming, they are just a couple of taps. In comparison, T -Life, in comparison, prefers to hide almost everything under the mountain of the criminal. I am very happy not to deal with it anymore.

Don’t panic by changing the carrier

    Joe Mark / Android Authority

This last point is not specific to itself, but a more general point I learned in the carrier switching process.

Especially when you have been with a cell carrier for many years, it is difficult to turn into something else. You are currently familiar with your career, you don’t want to go through the transfer headaches, you are worried about how another provider’s coverage will be like – the list continues.

Switching carriers is much easier today.

Before I decided to go, I was unhappy with T -Mobile for almost a year, and I was largely out of familiarity and convenience with the company. I didn’t want to cope with the changing career troubles, and although I was not happy with T -mobile, I tightened it anyway.

If you find yourself in a similar position, whether it is T -Mobile or with another company, then I suggest going for it. Changing carriers is not the most entertaining thing, but it is much easier today, especially now that ESMs have been adopted more widely and easy to use.

    Edgar Survints / Android Authority

After 10 years I felt hesitant to leave T Mobile, but I am glad I finally did-and I wish I could do it soon. You have no loyalty to your current career, so if you are unhappy with your monthly bill, service, or anything else, go ahead and go. You will be happy that you did.

The purpose of facilitating and reducing mobile contact costs, is a simple carrier through Verizon, which offers a limited project, no hidden fee, and the Verizon network.
