Ukraine launched a surprising attack on Russia that targeted more than 40 military planes in the country on Sunday. The mission, known as Operation Spiderweb, was sent to 117 drones on Russia’s borders and included several airfields. According to President Wolodmeer Zelannski, it was still the longest attack by the Ukrainian army, but it also pulled the curtains in a broader campaign to set up a strike footage in front of the global audience.
Within just hours, three videos of the strike spread from Ukraine’s Federal Security Agency to a journalist living in the country, and later spread to social media and news outlets around the world. It seems that these videos have been filmed from a large -scale, drone perspective of the drone’s telemetry.
In a video, the drone flys over a air field, and a cloud of deep gray smoke passes through numerous fighter jets. Another clip apparently captures the moment when the plane explodes in the flame tower. The third shows a drone down to a plane, in which the video suddenly frozen and shows a “warning data” message when the airplane arrives. The Ukrainian government will later report that 41 Russian planes were destroyed as a result of the strike, which increased Russia’s strategic cruise missile carriers by 34 %. New York Times. The strikes targeted several airfields all over Russia.
In the upper part of the damage to Russian forces, the video was a clear purpose of the video. This is not the first time Ukraine shared the raw footage of its attacks to highlight the war, but this is probably the most amazing and fast example ever.
Video clips have apparently come from the Ukrainian National Security Agency, Ukrainian Security Service (SSU) sources. Ukrainian journalist Vatley Gulgola was known to be one of the earlier by writing in a post on Telegram (through machine transfer Stuffy) That he received footage of a drone strike from sources within the SSU. Gilgola later followed several photos, showing several drones standing in preparation for an attack.
Since Russia’s invasion of Ukraine in 2022, Ukraine has kept the world updated through social media. Initially, Zilnsky went viral after posting selfie videos in the Ukraine’s capital, Kiev, after Russia’s attacks. With the development of the war, these efforts increased, in which Zilnsky and Ukrainian commander -in -chief, Olsander Serriski, followed the X, where they both often share information about the country’s war efforts. The country’s campaign has also helped Ukraine recruit the global “IT Army” to unite millions of people and even to defend the country against cybertics.
Ukraine has maintained support in Europe, but President Donald Trump faces pressure to end the war – which also includes during a meeting with Zilnski, which Trump considers “great television”. The first person of the fire strike on Russia, though, is far more spectacular.
