    • Asus is trying to persuade people who cannot upgrade their Windows 10 laptops to go to the Co -Co -+ PC.
    • It is ignoring concerns about millions of PCs due to the specific requirements of Windows 11.
    • ASUS is also monitoring the capacity+ PC capabilities, which is not so impressive overall – not yet, anyway

For some time, Microsoft has been urging people with Windows 10 PCs who can’t upgrade to Windows 11 that they should buy a new computer, preferably a co -+ Pelot+ PC – and Asus is now playing the same tune.

The latest Windows saw a post from ASUS why it is time to convert to Windows 11, and why it is time to consider upgrading to the Coplot+ Device (from ASUS, naturally).

It aims for people who are in the unfortunate situation where their Windows 10 laptop is very old to support the hardware needs of Windows 11, and therefore they cannot upgrade. Old CPU notebook has been left in the cold, of course, because you can’t change those parts as you can do through a desktop PC.

Asos reminds us that Windows 10 is out of support in October 2025, which is coming closer, and that you should not run OS without security actions, which is definitely true.

Then the laptop maker moves forward to convince us that what everyone needs in this situation is a new Windows 11 notebook, and what makes these devices different is a word: Co -Palate.

In addition, Asos argues: “But here it is even better: with Cooplot+ PC, Windows 11 AI’s experience takes the whole new level. These devices are equipped with NPU – a dedicated AI processor, especially locally developed to handle AI tasks, which is more secure and more secure.

“If your current laptop is not finished for Windows 11 or Co -Capelot+, this is the best time to upgrade the device that is made for it.”

This is followed by a series of plugins for Asus VivooBook models, Cooplot+ PC, which both have Snapdragon (ARM -based) and traditional Intel processors.

Analysis: Land Phil Phil’s troubles and unintentional limits

The problem with these marketing campaigns, which is leaning on people to easily throw their Windows 10 PCs, is that this is not a green friendly approach to work.

On the way back, the scripped PC, which is leading to Land Fills later this year, has been alarmed, thanks to Microsoft’s policy to enforce Steper System requirements with Windows 11. If it was not for some of them-generally security-related PCPCs can upgrade to their current laptop top (or really upgrade their existing laptop top.

Therefore, when companies like Microsoft and now ASUS advance the benefits of throwing old hardware for a shiny new coat+ PC, you can see why it disappoints organizations that are working to promote eco -friendly.

At any cost, if your laptop is not compatible with Windows 11, is it really ready for this bin when life ends for October 2025 and Windows 10? Not at all – an option is that you can pay for a year to increase cooperation.

Microsoft is a choice for the first time for users, in fact, these people are likely to be prone to environmental concerns – though it would be good if this support could be further enhanced. (This may be for business, but we do not know if it will happen for everyday consumers).

Another option is to be converted into Linux, of course, as has recently been highlighted.

Asus the second issue with the argument presented here (and Microsoft is also guilty) is that it is monitoring the capacity of Copilot+ PC. Although these devices have some impressive powers – such as better (natural language) Windows 11 search, and similar search tricks in settings – most AI costs for copelot+ devices are not excessive (re -add).

Although the Coophot+ laptop can eventually take your Windows 11 computing experience to ‘any other level’ as ASUS has mentioned in his blurred, we are certainly not yet there. This is primarily marketing marketing, and, while rarely unexpectedly, companies need to be cautious about how they are developing such posts, in view of environmental concerns in the game.

No, you can’t keep running your computer forever, but Microsoft and its partners need to think more about the state of the techland and our planet. And I really would like to see Microsoft for more than a year for users to see expansion support for updates, without any extra time prohibited.
