I also deleted many old emails. To find your oldest emails, click All miles On the left, then on the upper right, click on the pages displayed to see the oldest rather than the latest. Select all emails on the screen and delete them as needed, click on each page of emails to see more. You can also use the “Old_Than” search operator. Type “Old_Than: 1y” in the search bar to see all emails over the age of a year. “Old_Than: 2y” and try so. (Gemini Boat may also be able to help find old emails here, if you prefer a chat style search, shot it.)
For me, after deleting large files and labels, and deleting thousands of old emails, Gmail ran particularly fast.
Another fix is to do with how many files you see in your inbox. This is a fundamental rule of computing, especially in web -based apps: Showing less information on the screen means that the app does not need to work so hard. Barley SettingsThen See all settings. Find the popup forward Maximum page size And choose a small number, 25 says I found out that this order has also helped the old, crushed Gmail account for years ago.
Cash out
I wanted to do more, and I was tempted to clear my browser cache, which is a catch solution to accelerate web performances. Each site’s you, in which you go, files and settings are stored locally, and as these things are ready over time, they can slow down your browser. There is a negative aspect of cleansing cache, though: You will lose all your secured sessions and you will have to log in to all your websites, not just Gmail. Instead, it is better to clean the cache only for Gmail.
It may look amazing, but it’s much easier than that: to clean the cache for a site, first go to this site (in our case, Gmail.com). Then, in Chrome, press F12 (Or go See > Manufacturer > Manufacturer Tolls) To bring developer tools. Click on Application Top tab, and click Clear site data. It really accelerated things for me, more than deleting even bigger files and labels. I was making food with gas, but it seemed as if things could still be sharp.
Start
This is a more dramatic solution, but it’s amazing how well it works. A few years ago, I changed the Gmail leaves because my old account was very full. I started with a new Gmail Inbox that was clear and trim. It felt like buy a new car. Of course, the negative aspect is that you have to tell everyone about your new email address. This is much easier than you think.
After creating a new Gmail address, go back from your old. In gmail, go Settings And click See all settingsThen scroll down The holiday respondent. You are taking a permanent holiday from your e -mail, so set the date limit for running all year long. Type a message about how you are changing the emails, and add a new email address.
You can also send all incoming messages to the new inbox. Click on Forwarding and pop/IMAP Type the top tab, and a new forwarding email. Gmail can indicate you from another device to confirm that it is really you. Then, click Move forward. Gmail will also send a confirmation email from your old email address from your old address. In your old account, click on this verification link.
You’re all ready! Everyone will be notified when your old account will be emailed, and you will receive emails coming to your new account.
Whether you follow these points to keep an old Gmail account alive or start with a new, the good news is that you will see fast. Even my old Gmail account is faster than ever.
