Hunter T7 Wi-FI 7 Mash Router Contact: One minute Review
Acer is known for its predator range gaming PC and display, but the company also creates several Wi -Fi routers and mesh systems that are also developed for gaming. There are several models in the predator range, including some very cheap Wi -Fi 6 routers, but the upper part of the range has a high -speed hunter connect T7 mesh router, which claims that they can make it a ‘wired level of wired levels’ for serious gamers with filting fast reflexes.
Its strictly rectangular design may not be too much to see, but the T7 provides the latest Wi -Fi performance, which is the Tree Band Wi -Fi -7, which offers a rapid 11GBPS. And, as the name suggests, you can buy extra T7 routers and use them together to build a remote mesh Wi -Fi system for large homes.
In fact, these features will probably increase to a limit for many people-especially if you are still using old computers and mobile devices that do not have full support for Wi-Fi-7-but T7 is competitively a high-end router price, and will definitely appeal for tough game audiences.

Transfer of Acer products can sometimes be a bit difficult, as it often relies on third -party retailers to store their products. Consumers in the United States are lucky because they can buy T7 directly from Acer’s website T329.99, which is like Net Gear’s Night Hawk RS300, which operates at 9.3 GBPS.
We are also delighted to know that T7 does not need an additional subscription for parental control and security features, so definitely is a competitive price for such an advanced model. Consumers will have to search online in the UK, Australia and other regions, selling T7 Amazon and other sites at 236.22/AU $ 699.

T7 have a largely suppressed design for the gaming router. You get the selection of a black or white selection of the central template, and the above panel is a stylized ‘mask’ LED, but it is mainly used to provide status information, and the T7 does not have over -top RGB lighting and effects offered by some gaming competitors.
Instead, the T7 chooses a standing rectangular Oblisis that is imposed at 212 mm, so when you are setting it, you will need a shelf or table that will have a little room available.
One of the trivial things is that the on -/ -off switch is cunningly hidden on the rotor -based basis, while the power connector is more visible on the previous panel. The Quick Start Guide and the Long PDF manual we have downloaded from the Eser website fail to mention it, just ask you to plug into the power connector and then download the PRIDER app. He surprised me why the router was not working when I plug him for the first time – until I turned it upside down and found the power switch down.
The previous panel is completely flowing with other ports and connectors. There is a 2.5 gigabit Ethernet port for high -speed broadband connection, but it is disappointing that such a high -end rotor contains only 1 GB Ethernet ports that provide wired connection to the PC or Games Console. The back section also has a USB-C port, which will allow you to connect the hard drive or storage device to your network. Again, though, although, it only supports the old USB 2.0 standard, which is disappointing.

It is also slightly disturbing that you are forced to create an account with Acer before using the Predator connect app to start. However, the app provides many useful features that will appeal to the gamers and more experienced users. Many routers that aim is more common audience will try to put things only by integrating the router’s different frequency bands into a network, but manufactures three separate networks using T7 2.4GHz, 5.0GHz and 6.0GHz bands. This allows you to keep the 6.0GHz band safe for gaming, while you connect other devices to 2.4GHz or 5.0GHz band.
There is a QOS option-the quality of service-which allows you to prefer high bandout works such as LIGH gaming or streaming video of specific devices. T7, like some rivals, provides useful safety properties and parental control without the need for additional subscriptions.
The app is sometimes a bit of heavy, and if you do not know what the ‘band steering’ or ‘net acceleration’ means, then you can struggle with the app at times. Esar’s manual also makes a listing of features without explaining how they work, so you will need to know a little network to get the most out of the hunter app.

The T7 builds three networks on different frequency bands, but with the rapid pace of 11 GBPS, it is not surprising that it runs on my old office router’s 2.4GHz band.
Our Office Internet Service provides high speed of 150Mbps, but my typical router can only manage 80Mbps on the 2.4GHz band when the Okla Speed Test running devices, which is close to the same room as the router.
Steam is also downloaded and even worse with the permanent speed of 40 MBPS. The 5.0GHz band is slightly better but still can only manage only 120Mbps on the Ookla Speed test, and 100Mbps for steam download. The worse fact is that both frequency bands struggle to reach an office in the back of the building, and forcing me to use Ethernet cables to provide wired connections instead.
Surprisingly, T7 moves it forward. Its slow 2.4GHz band collides with 125Mbps for both Okla and Steam downloads at both locations, while 5.0GHz and 6.0GHz bands easily drag their shoulders and in our previous Office Dadzone, air blows with maximum speed of 150Mbps.
In fact, the rapid speed of T7’s 11 GBPS will be a massive limit for many homes, but if you want a deep game that wants fast, intermittent -free Wi -Fi for competitive gaming, it is difficult to beat the hunter T7. Then once again, this is a router that will not be strictly for today’s gaming (or business) market, but rather for the near future (or fans). If you want to stay on the modern edge, you can be the price.
