The WhatsApp for iPad was released several years after being in development on Monday and the beta was limited to testers. The App Meta -owned immediate messaging clients helps the local full screen, which enables users to send and receive text messages and stay in touch with each other through sound and video calls. Taking advantage of Apple’s tablet’s multi -tasking capabilities, the WhatsApp for the iPad includes key member features such as stage manager and spillet view.
WhatsApp for iPad app features
In a press note, Meta said that bringing WhatsApp to the iPad was a “largest application” that it received from users. With the app now available, up to 32 users can engage in sound and video calls, share their screen, and use both the front and rear cameras on the tablet.
Although the new WhatsApp for the iPad app has the same features as its Android and iOS counterpart, one of the major changes is a full -screen view. It shows chats in a view that is local of the tablet, carrying the left half of the screen with the chat list while the chat window appears on the right.
Meta says it has added support for the features that benefit the iPad’s multi -tasking capabilities. For example, the WhatsApp supports the stage manager for iPad, an app management system that maintains an app in which you are currently working on the front and center to reduce disorder. Meanwhile, the recently used apps have been arranged on the left side of the screen for immediate access.
It supports the spillet view, which is why two apps appear on the screen. Meanwhile, users can also slide on an app to view WhatsApp for iPads and other apps. According to the company, the quick messaging platform’s iPad app also supports the Magic Keyboard and the Perry Ferrles such as Apple Pencil.
WhatsApp claims for the iPad app to use multi -device technology to keep chats and media in the iPhone, iPad, and Mac tools. WhatsApp says it has the same end from the end, which ensures that no one, including Meta, can read them. Features like Chat Lock enable users to lock them with facial identification or pin.
