The company’s latest artificial intelligence (AI) agent -powered browser, Opera Neon was unveiled on Tuesday. Norwegian Tech Dev said that the agent is developing a new browser experience for the web, and it is estimated how the browser looks and works. Its focus is on the construction of AI -powered agent workflows that either works with the user or operates independently in the background. Although the company did not provide any release dates, it said that Opera Nelen would soon be released, invited only with access.

Opera exposes a web browsing platform with its AI agent

In a series of posts on X (previously known as Twitter), Opera’s official handle announced a new agent web browser. Explaining the new browser, the company said, “Opera Need can browse with you or for you, take action and help you work.” In particular, the company will first provide access to the browser based on the invitation to its community members, and will later be available as part of the payment membership. Opera has also opened a microsite for a web browser where individuals can sign up for the weightlist to invite them to try it.

Opera Neon has basically three features. The first chat is called a chat boot -shaped experience where the user can type his questions in natural language and the AI agent will find and share the information. It seems that it works like another AI chat boot with a web search function. It can produce text, translation, research titles and more.

The second feature, Dobo, is described as a browser -based agent that can complete certain tasks such as booking a table in a restaurant, planning travel, and adding products to the cart. It is powered by the company’s recently unveiled browser operator AI agent, and can complete autonomous tasks in the background.

Finally, Mac Company is the most expensive offer. It can be used to create, create, make a document, or produce retro games. The company did not deepen its tasks, but based on its explanation, it seems that it is running through a coding agent, like the Open IK Codex.

No other features have been revealed at this time. However, the company highlighted that Opera Neon will work as a playground to test the features of new and modern agents.
