Apple is a major change in the operating system that operates tech devices. Instead of identifying each OS through its name and version number (such as iOS 18, for example), Apple will indicate the release of OS in terms of year. This is being done to help users prevent confusion, while it brings a special consistency to Apple’s various operating systems. Since Apple has not yet announced the change, a source presented by Bloomberg’s Mark Gorman has not been identified. Because of this, Gorman will be known as iOS 19, as well as the upcoming construction of the iOS operating system as iOS 26. When other devices will get better on 26, Macos 26, Wachos 26, Wachos 26 and Vivasus 26. Currently, different operating systems use a different version number because they were not released at the same time.

However, there is an area where there is still confusion. Instead of naming the next OS iOS 25 of the iPhone, since it will be released this September, Apple will use 26 as the software will remain in just three months in 2025. Other OS release released this year will include the number 26. If Apple continues with this strategy, the version of iOS released in September 2026 will be known as iOS 27. Other names of OS will include iPados 26, Macos 26, Wachos 26, TVOS 26, and Visionosis 26.

Gorman says Apple as part of changes to its operating system, he expects iPad users to provide similar experience with Mac use. The purpose is to make the member more useful at the workplace. Apple will allow third -party developers to access the technology used by its AI models and Apple Intelligence AI move. AI will also be used to help manage the battery on Apple devices.
The new features expected to wrap in the WWDC include a direct translation feature for Air Pods Wireless Bluetooth Aerobids and Siri Virtual Assistant, and a visual scrolling feature that allows Vision Pro users to scroll using their eyes.

Bloomberg reports that Apple will announce this change in the WWDC, which begins on June 9, and that with new titles, the user interface (UI) of each operating system will be changed. Internally, Apple has changed the Solarium code name to the UI and will include TVOS, Wachos and some parts. Visionosis For Vision pro.
