Apple is allegedly planning to create apps using third -party developers using its proprietary artificial intelligence (AI) models. According to the report, a Caprotino -based tech -based tech god wants to open its AI model, which also strengthens the features of Apple Intelligence, in the hope that more AI -powered apps appear in its market. With more apps that use AI’s capabilities, the company is confident that it can trigger consumer interest in the Apple Intelligence devices. The announcement will be made in the World Wide Developer Conference (WWDC) 2025.
Third -party Apple developers may soon have access to its AI model
According to a report by Mark Gorman’s Bloomberg, Tech Dev is working on a new software development kit (SDK) and its affiliated framework, which will allow third -party developers to either produce new AI -powered apps or connect AI features in existing apps. Referring to the unknown persons familiar with the matter, the publication highlights that the new SDK can be unveiled on June 9 in the WWDC 2025.
Apple can start with its small language model (SLM) opening, and later can allow access to its larger, foundation model according to the report. These models are already strengthening Apple Intelligence features in iOS and MacOS, such as written tools, image playground and genitals. With the new SD, third -party developers are also called to introduce similar features in their apps.
Third -party developers also help the company in a long time. Currently, the iPhone maker is struggling to advance the practical AI features enough to enhance the adoption of Apple Intelligence. The long -awaited AI -powered Siri is still in progress and has suffered many delays. A recent report now claims that the company cannot discuss Siri upgrades at WWDC at all.
In addition, Tech Dev is also expected to showcase new features in the next repetition of iOS, MacOS, and other operating systems. One such feature in iOS 19 can be a new AI -powered battery management mode. It is said that this feature collects data from the phone’s phone to evaluate the behavior samples, and then the power is effectively allocated and the battery life increases.
