NASA scientists may soon be able to monitor the volcanoes and predict how the trees respond to the space. Now, in a new collaboration with the Smithsonian Institution, they have discovered that the leaves of the trees grow when the passive volcanoes leave the Earth from the ground – the initial warning that a cone of magma is pushing upwards.
