Microsoft has quietly launched a launcher app like a latest spotlight for Windows, which provides immediate access to commands, apps and development tools. The software maker actually launched its Power Tie Launcher for Windows 10 about five years ago, and the latest version – Command Pellet – now includes apps, folders, and files, calculations, system commands, and more.
The command palette is available for any Windows User for the Power Tyous app, but it seems that Microsoft is now targeting power users and developers to this particular utility. You use command palette to access Windows Commands or launch command prompts and shell shortcuts. The command palette also has the ability to find the website, web searches, and folders and files, such as you will expect the spotlight-or the Alfred-like interface.
Microsoft has also transferred its previous window walker power tie to the command palette so that you can easily switch between the open windows. The most interesting thing about the command palette is that Microsoft has thanked the expansion support so that you can add additional commands and features that are default.
Power Toes Command Pellet is available since the beginning of April, and once you are installed, you can activate it using the One+ALT+Space shortcut. Microsoft says “the purpose of the command palette is to be the successor of the Powerweights,” but the two are still available. Microsoft made some contracts and changes to command the Pellet this week before its Blood Developer Conference on May 19.
