The Indian Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT in) has issued two risky notes that warn users about the security flaws affecting the equipment on Android, iOS and iPados. First refers to the risk of service (DOS) affecting the iPhone and iPadus, the recent version of iPhone and iPados. The second note highlights the numerous flaws affecting Android devices that allow malicious users to have unauthorized access to a device. In both cases, consumers are advised to take appropriate action to protect their smartphones and tablets.
Android, iOS Davis attacks are the devices that are without update
In the CERN -2025-0092 in the risk -threatening states, the certificates in these states have a number of flaws affecting the Android operating system that can be used by the attacker to operate a dangerous code on the user’s device, and can access data from afar. After malicious users receive high privileges, the device can also attack the device.
According to them, this weakness affects Android 13, Android 14, and Android 15 smartphones. This effectively means that millions of smartphones, which are operating on these versions of Android, are compromised with their devices unless the relevant security patches are installed on their device.
To be safe, users must install the latest Android Security Patch that was developed in devices in May. The certificate says the latest security patch smartphones will be protected from these security flaws. However, users may have to wait until these patch smartphone is available through OEMS, while Google Pixel owners should already be safe with automatic updates.
On the other hand, CERN’s CIVN-2025-0094 note states that iPhone models that were issued before iOS 18.3, or iPados 18.3 (and iPados 17.7.3 on old models are at risk of doses.
The agency has warned that users who are operating on these old versions are in danger of becoming “irresponsible or inactive” if they run malicious applications that can call them unbearable. Consumers will need to restore these devices if they are affected by the DOS attack.
The certificate says that users who have updated iOS 18.3, iPados 18.3, and iPados should be protected from the risk of DOS on 17.7.3. Considering that iOS was released on January 18.3, many users should already keep this version on their phone and tablets. He may also be running at iOS 18.5, which was released earlier this week.
