I want to stop doing this a disturbing job of YouTube algorithm

Over the years, the YouTube proposal has become very complicated. I have noticed that it can remove my tastes very well based on the history of my watch, and constantly lure me to use more videos. For example, I recently saw a direct clip of the product in Kochila. Then my home screen feed was not only filled with other product concert clips, but also with other artists who enjoy, such as nine inch nails, St. Vincent, Air and more. In particular, these artists do nothing like a product, but the algorithm is so smart to understand that my tastes will be compatible with them on the basis of my watch history. I’m not going to lie: I had to stop seeing myself from watching direct concert clips all day.

It is impressive and Google may have spent millions of dollars, as it gives people fueling a sticking and mini -printing machine on YouTube that has become. Interestingly, although the algorithm is quite intelligent, it is still completely incompetent to anything else: When I find a video I do not understand because I have a keen interest in this topic, but because I need help to do a particular job. Still, in 2025, it seems that it still throws the algorithm for a loop.

YouTube algorithm and a time job

Leather boot repair (1 of 1)

I give you an example of a real world of algorithm. I have expensive German leather shoes that I wear almost every day and love my heart. Since I wear them a lot, they go through a little dress and tears. In the past, I have taken them to a cobbler for a refresh every few years, but here in California, it’s expensive – and no cheap. I thought it could not be so difficult to take care of myself annually on my shoes, and doing so would surely save money from me.

I went straight to YouTube with this thought. I searched for “leather boot refresh” and received dozens of high quality videos along with phased instructions, along with tools, polished, conditioners and other materials needed for this work. I saw a video – just one! – And I knew I could do it myself. I bought the video suggested products, and when they all arrived, I saw the same video again several times when I followed his instructions. My shoes look great now – they’re like new!

Enough to flood your feed with other videos on this topic for a particular topic for someone’s ‘How’ video is not enough.

Someone would think that YouTube algorithm would understand that this process I had spent is not a direct concert clip. I am not interested in buying leather shoes. I’m not looking for other points about fixing my shoes. I’m not going to open a Mochi shop. I was having a time problem-refreshing my shoes-and-used A YouTube video to solve this problem. If I ever need help again, I will look for it (or just watch the same video once again).

Nevertheless, how clear it would be, it did not stop the algorithm from filling your homepage with other videos about refreshing leather shoes. Seriously, for a few days to refresh, half of my homepage was videos about leather, shoes or cobbler. Should we not be ahead of it yet? Shouldn’t the algorithm video be able to tell the difference between hours I enjoy watching things and spent hours using YouTube as a device?

It wants me to use YouTube less, not much

Remember that after watching just a coach clip, how did I have to put back to finishing the entire concert music? That is why YouTube has made it so successful. Unfortunately, this problem-makes its failure-domestic page actively damaged, and works against its success. In other words, my feed is covered with boot videos I want to navigate Duration From YouTube it is completely opposed to Google’s intentions!

Has YouTube algorithm filled your feed before ‘How’ content?

Based on this, one would think that Google would prefer to prevent this problem. However, seeing that YouTube has been 20 years (man, I’m old) and this problem is still there, it is not clearly a priority for Google as much as I think.

You think Google wants to fix it, considering that it makes my home feed less addictive.

According to Google’s credit, a little more than a week, my feed cleansed all the shoes and all leather references. It seems that the algorithm is now smart enough to understand that I didn’t click on any of his suggestions, so I am not much interested in boot videos. But what would happen if it was nothing related to the repair of the boot, and instead of something more sensitive? If I went to YouTube to solve a health problem, and suddenly my feed was a bacon for someone who wanted to know about my medical condition? If I watched a video about solving the marital problem, and my feed is filled with other videos about marital problems that I am not happening? YouTube should work not for us but for us.

Have you suffered the same trouble? What did you find for this, after the algorithm entered you with other related videos? Tell me in the comments, and select something in the above survey.
