This year Google I/O runs on May 20 and 21, and on the first day of the event, the company can be the biggest thing of this year. We expect Google to talk about all of its software and services in its latest innovations, often stealthy in the coming hardware.

But this year, Google is also hosting a separate Android event, which he is calling Android Show: I/O Edition. This program will be set up in advance and will be just a week before the I/O key note. We expect it to be deeply focused on what we can expect from wearing Android 16, OS and other Android products.
By breaking Android News in its virtual event, Google frees itself to spend more time during the I/O key to talk about Gemini, deep brain, Android XR and Project Astra. This is probably going to be a jam -filled stream of events, so how can you see both of them here and what you can look forward to.

Android Show: I/O Edition: where to see

Although the main I/O key note is not until the end of May, the company’s new Android show is just a distance of days, which is taking place on May 13, 10am PDT (1pm EDT, BST BST). It will be flowing on it Android YouTube channel. It will pay a lot of attention to Android 16, which has been in a public son for some time and is expected to officially start in June. This is usually already before Android. One of the stimulants behind this move is to provide developers with more time with initial software to help improve AI -focusing apps and software.

Rumor Android 16 features include refreshing camera to control more excellent grains at exposure and color temperature, when using foldable phones is changed more dynamic app size and refreshing methods of notification. It is possible that Google may also talk about the latest work, Android XR, at the headset of mixed realism in partnership with Samsung and its project Mohan Headset. We also expect Google’s software to announce announcements around Android -based smart watchs.

    Google I/O: Where to see

Google I/O appropriate kicks are closed with key notes on PDT (1pm EDT, 6pm BST) at 10 am. It will definitely be available to stream online Google’s own YouTube channelAlthough a holding video is not yet available. There is no direct link On I/O website Still, either, though you can use easy links to add the event to the calendar of your choice. Expect that direct link links will be available near the day.

What to expect from Google I/O 2025

Google has the least talked about Android in its I/O developer conference, with the use of the word “Android” falling down from the word “AI” on the stage during the keynote note of 2024. Given that Google is roaming its Android announcements in its program, it is safe to expect Android back sets.

AI will definitely dominate the conversation in I/O this year. From its integration in Android to the always viewing project Austral, AI tools will continue to continue deep infections in Google’s work, whether you like it or not. It is hoped that Google will do a better job of working its new AI tools than in the previous year.
