We are testing Techno Camon 40 Pro (5g of different types) and want to share the results of our battery life. The phone is equipped with a 5,200mAh battery (with 45W wired charging) and includes up to 144 hits of 6.78 “OLED display. It runs from TSMC FABS to 4nm chip, dimension 7300.
Battery Life Test
Last year’s Kimon 30 Pro has a slightly small 5,000 mAh battery but a high -end dimension 8200 ultimat (which is similar to 7300 on the same 4nm node). Extra performance helped the gaming test where the old model lasted an hour long. His call was also upper hand in the test, while the web and video tests are close – it gave 2024 Pro an additional 40 minutes of active use.
The recent Motorola Age 60 Fusion has made an interesting point of comparison – the global model (which we have tested) uses the same as 7300 chip and the battery has the same capacity of 5,200 mAh. The screen is slightly smaller, but has a high resolution – 6.67 “1220p+ for Motorola compared to 6.78” 1080p+ for techno. It has more than 2 hours of benefit in the video playback test, which was enough to get the techno out of the small margin.

Techno Kimon 40 Pro
Infinix Note 50 Pro+ also makes an interesting comparison-it also has 6.78 “144H Herz display like a techno (it is flat but does not affect the use of strength) and the same 5,200 mAh battery. However, it is developed on an advanced N4P node.
The Poko X7 dimensions run on 7300 ultra (minor variation of 7300) and 5,110mAh batteries (only 90mah less than TECNO). It has a small, sharp 6.67 “1220p+ display with 120 herts refresh rate. While the hardware appears closely, the X7 is down an hour and a half in the active use score with the worst results throughout the board.
Charging speed test
Techno Common supports 40 Pro 45W chargers – it even sends a ship in the box. This previous model, Kimon 30 Pro is lower than Pro, which supports 70W charger (and with ships).

Kimon 40 Pro is closed for a slow start – it does not help that most of its rivals support high charge rates. Certainly, some of them have small batteries, but the 90mAh difference with the Poko X7 (45W charging the only phone) is not enough to calculate the difference of 8 % points at a 15 -minute mark.
The X7 lead spreads over a 30 -minute mark. Meanwhile, the Infinix Note 50 Pro+ has crossed the end line at this location. The Motorola Edge 60 fusion (which has the same 5,200mAh battery) shows its high 68W rating advantage. Interestingly, Techno Kimon 40 Pro defeated Poko X7 in just one minute, but it is still unexpected, provided it was behind 15 and 30 minutes. 100 % 20 minutes faster than the Motorola Techno. Kimon was defeated by his predecessor for 15 minutes.
Note that Kimon 40 Pro does not compensate at its fast speed – when you plug it, you have to manually select Hyper Mode from the lock screen.
Word
Techno Camon 40 Pro has a great life of battery than your peers and the charge speed is fine if you receive 100 %. However, the top -up is not so quick. Downt grade is difficult to feel compared to Kimon 30 Pro – 2024 model continued for a long time (with small battery) and was charged rapidly. These are not the only one, either in the review we will also advance performance and cameras (30MP ultra in 30 Pro was wide, 40 Pro is 8MP module).
