I have said this question and answer in a lot of meetings, but I want to make it official: Dolingo is going to be the first.
AI is already changing how to work. It is not a question whether or when. This is happening now. When there is a major change in it, the worst thing you can do is wait. In 2012, we bet on mobile. While others were focused on mobile fellow apps for websites, we decided to make a mobile first because we saw it was the future. This decision helped us win the 2013 iPhone app for the year and unlocking the organic literally mouth growth.
Betting on mobile made all the difference. We are now making a similar call, and this time the platform is a shift AI.
AI is not just an increase in production capacity. It helps us get closer to our mission. We need to prepare a lot of content, and do not manually measure it. The best decision we made recently is a lazy, manual content with one through AI. Without AI, it will take us decades to measure our content more learners. We are bound by our learners to get this content to ASAP.
AI also helps us create features like video calls that were impossible to build first. For the first time, the best human tutors are under our access to teaching.
Being AI First means that we will need to re -consider our methodology. We will not find a minor adaptation to manufactured systems for humans. In many cases, we will need to start from the beginning. We are not going to rebuild everything overnight, and it will take time to get AI to understand our code base like some things. However, we cannot wait until the technology is 100 % perfect. Instead, we will move forward immediately and get more successful movies more occasionally than slowly moving and losing the moment.
We will prepare some constructive obstacles to help guide this change:
We will slowly stop using the contractors to work on the work that can handle AI
The use of AI will be part of something we seek in hiring
The use of AI will be a part of the performance reviews we assess
The head coal will be given only if a team can automatically do its work
Most functions will have specific steps to change mainly how they work
All of them said, Dolingo will be a company that cares deeply of its employees. This pair is not about replacing AI. This is about removing the barriers so that we can work more with the already existing couple. We want you to focus on creative work and real issues, not repeatedly. We are going to help you with further training, patronage, and tooling for AI in your function.
Change may be scary, but I’m sure it will be a big step for Dolingo. This will help better supply our mission – and the pair’s IT, which means to stay ahead of the curve to use this technology to work.
